This is not a big deal. The science behind this is simple. Viruses mutate. Take your typical rhinovirus, the cause for the common cold. There could be a vaccine for the common cold, but there are thousands of rhinoviruses because they have mutated. It is cost prohibitive to have a vaccine that covers all of them.
