Liz Cheney, the third-most senior House Republican was seen talking to Jamie Raskin, one of the Democrats' leading advocates of removing Donald Trump Tuesday, after she said she would vote for impeachment.
Cheney, the Republican Conference Chair, laced into Trump in an explosive statement saying he 'lit the flame' of insurrection, saying: 'There has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution.'
The decision to back impeachment by Cheney, a member of Republican royalty as the daughter of Dick Cheney, and seen as a future contender for the party's House leadership and the Speaker's chair, means that impeachment on Wednesday will be bipartisan.

I pretty much started ignoring the “Vote R no matter what” siren song when I voted for the Libertarian candidate for governor in Maryland in 2018, among other things, rather than voting to re-elect the fat, corrupt, cancer-scamming ogre who continues to occupy our Governor’s Mansion.
I personally believe that any FReeper and any other sane minded American with a Douche Bank account should close it now. It’s time to make an impact on the American and Global Financial system with a boycott of miscreant banks.
The left would not hesitate to do the same, if they saw fit to do it to fulfill an agenda. We can start adopting some of their milder tactics without going completely overboard.
America needs constitutional Conservative Party. I think David Limbaugh would be a good leader if willing. Jim Jordan and Nunez have been consistent and valiant.
Our country will lose its flag. We already lost our respect. Perverts, anortionists and pornography sales people tunning the country just isn’t ‘the city on a hill’.
You’ll always have corrupted politicians in ANY party (old or new). That comes with the political landscape. But you can inscribe, in your party’s platform, certain core principles such as;
- Constitutional Amendment for Terms Limits
- Outlawing Socialism and Communism
- America First policies
- An alternative currency backed by gold/silver
- etc...Feel free to add.
Any candidate from this new party, running for office must PLEDGE to implement the basic principles (Term limits, outlawing socialism, alt currency) in order to get support from the party. If they renege on their pledge after reaching office -
they’re booted from the party. That’s something that will NEVER happen in the Republican Party...NEVER!

Is it sent in legal concrete that Reps and Senators can’t be recalled? I recall an attempt against McCain being abandoned before reaching court test. If so, does WY have state law enabling recalls? It might make a great test case.

And it shows the prescription for failure of a breakaway party.
There are wayyy too many lifelong Conservatives, just like me, who want to repair the GOP from within, and just plain know that ballot splits are always, always (figuratively) fatal to even a well-meaning cause.

So if a new America First MAGA party forms then I take it that you will stick with the GOP? Screw that. Why should I listen to another word you say. When invertebrates like you prattle on about how we have to stick with the GOP I cringe...
