Those Who Lived Under Communism Speak Out
American Thinker ^ | Eileen F. Toplansky

The Hollywood crowd has abandoned any pretense for protecting the arts. Thus, "one Hollywood producer told PEN America that suggestions for projects critical of China aroused the fear that 'you or your company will actively be blacklisted, and they will interfere with your current or future project.

*snip*

Moreover, one would think that the media would be daily headlining the horrors being dealt upon China's minority in its far west, its Uighurs. After all, "the detainees, from the province of Xinjiang, are treated to a strict 're-education' program that includes what one escapee described as horrific physical abuse, including forced organ removal, abortions and medical 'experiments.'" Yet, the Nazi-like behavior is only bandied about when referring to Trump and his conservative supporters.

In his memoir The Captive Mind, Czeslaw Milosz "grappled with how liberal intellectuals came to collaborate with and work alongside, Poland's communist party. Milosz stated that: 'It’s as if we all took a magic pill, became temporarily enchanted and went along with this ridiculous thing.'"

Milosz writes that [i]t’s very difficult, now, to think back into that time, when people had very limited choices. If you chose to oppose the regime, that might mean you couldn’t get medicine for your sick mother, your children couldn’t go to school and you might get kicked out of your apartment. We don’t have to face those choices."

*snip*

Americans across the country are now being fined, detained, and arrested for speaking out against lockdown restrictions, not wearing masks, and daring to operate their businesses. Professors who speak against the inherently racist critical race theory are being forced out. Teachers in Jefferson County, West Virginia who attended the rally in Washington, D.C. are now being threatened with termination.

But Marxist Black Lives Matter violent mobs are given a free pass.

Worth repeating:

Right now. After last week. Trump supporters who attended the DC rally are being fired from jobs.

We know three people who fled communist countries. Cuban,Romanian and Hungarian. They see what’s happening. I’ve seen this coming for decades. We have no choice but to fight. Voting is over.

Growing up in communist Cuba, I know these people well, they are ruthless, evil bastards.

They confiscated everything my father had worked for. My mother did not join the communist party because she refused to reject God, was then ostracised and made a second class citizen.

Evil, evil people.

**in the last days, you can’t buy or sell without the mark of the beast***

without a job because you do not bow to the left... you will be broke.

Since an armed rebellion is unlikely to happen and even more unlikely to succeed, we and the Trump family need to be gone from the USSA for more friendly, freedom loving, countries. If Trump is here when he officially is no longer the President, really bad things are going to happen to him and key members of his family. We will not be far behind.

I am reminded of one defector who came here to america from the then soviet union. (Sorry, i cant recall his name or the title of his book. Its been decades since i read it)

In the old soviet union he worked as a teacher. He and his fellow teachers were in their school building when they learned of the american invasion of the communist island of Grenada. The soviet media was filled with denunciations.

He and the other teachers went to a vacant room in the building, made sure no one followed them or were within hearing distance. They locked the door behind them and proceeded to drink a toast to Ronald Reagan. In their eyes, finally here was an American President who knew how to deal with communists and communism.

We'll never know unless we try.

This is a war between freedom and slavery, good and evil. Freedom is worth fighting for. And dying for.

On top of that, China, who is pushing communism (i.e., slavery) around the world, isn't going to stop after subduing the U.S.

Eventually we will have to fight. May as well start now.

The guys I used to know who had managed to escape by being smuggled in car trunks, in their fishing boat during a storm, or got past the Wall, said to me in 1980 that what was being done to us commercial salmon fishermen, loggers, farmers, miners was as bad or worse than what they escaped from; I even knew one guy I’ll never forget, Bozho Dzajic, who was thinking of returning because he had more freedom in the old country - he was lost at sea in 1993.

America I grew up and lived in as a young man died back then in 1979-1980. We’ve been living in a slowly rotting corpse since that time. Just now people are noticing the foul stench as new organisms erupt from the corruption.

So all those people who have spouted on FR about a “gun behind every blade of grass” and ‘they will never take my guns away” or “let them try”, etc ad nauseam are mere puffy-chested faux patriots? You might be right ...

Once you come to the realization that congressional democrats (and a majority of republicans) don’t give a crap about you, your family or your livelihood, every outrageously expensive, pathetic, failed legislation and program they’ve passed makes sense -

I have a friend who grew up in Communist Poland- she cannot believe what has happened in this country. In her own words “ I cannot believe anyone is so stupid they would vote for the Democrats!”

Australia, where gun ownership is illegal? Where it is a hate crime to say anything about a muscleman?

Yes, I only put Brazil on the list because of Bolsonaro if he can hang on. He could use some help, too.

Hungary, Poland, maybe Brazil.

You’ll just adore their legal systems, language differences, vast cultural differences, and so forth. Not to mention in Hungary, Poland, a certain large neighbor with ambitions to move back in.

I just love in how when things get tough - nay, threaten to get tough - all the rats are busy thinking of jumping ship; rats who once claimed to be patriots ...
