Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell 'is done' and 'furious' with President Trump a source familiar confirmed to Fox News.
The source told Fox News that McConnell has shared with associates that impeachment will help rid the Republican Party of Trump and his movement.
It is unclear how McConnell would vote in an impeachment trial, should House Democrats vote to impeach Trump. It is not clear at this point whether McConnell would vote to convict.
Meanwhile, other sources told Fox News that there is "no love lost there."
Part of McConnell’s anger, according to sources, is that the Senate Majority was lost to the Democrats just last Tuesday in the Georgia Senate runoffs, but sources said that McConnell is extremely upset about the president’s actions Wednesday leading up to the riot at the Capitol......."

Jefferson's observation that a little violence from time to time is necessatry for liberty, while not a call to violence, is an adnmission that violance can have good purpose.
Why let the other side have a monopoly on ratcheting up the violence? Mutually assured destruction works becuse the good guys signal they are willing to throw nukes. Why is that not used at the political level?

Not by me, and I live in Kentucky. Six years ago I voted to "primary" him out.
Yeah he’s real smart misusing impeachment to “rid” the party of its leader.

At 68 years of age I’ve never voted Democrat and always voted Republican.
I watched the White House be violently attacked for days. Joe Biden called that “peaceful” and criticized the President for repelling the attackers.
If Republicans cause the president to be disqualified from office while Biden is allowed (of course) to serve, I will never vote for or support any Republican again. I will instead plan to finish my days calling for voters to reject the republican party in all elections.
And you will deserve that reaction from many millions of Republicans.
