A former Minneapolis police officer who held his knee to the neck of George Floyd for several minutes will be tried separately from three other former officers accused in his death, according to scheduling orders filed Tuesday.

Derek Chauvin will stand trial alone in March due to the coronavirus pandemic while the other three former officers will be tried together in the summer, according to the orders filed in Hennepin County District Court.

They never cared one whit about frank floyd or whatever his name was. It was nothing but a launching pad.

He gonna walk and then settle with his former employer for a couple of mil. He was following departmental policy the whole time Floyd was dying.

And more of our large cities will burn for a few days and there will be more calls for tearing down our society to end ‘systemic racism’.

I can’t wait for the “peaceful protests” when they walk.

Exactly!

Cause of death was not related to suffocation or cut off of blood flow.

He OD’d on Fentanyl.

This officer should be cut loose.

Optics should not be the sole justification for ruining someone’s life.

Floyd would have died anyway based on toxic levels of drugs in his bloodstream.....

Sad but true fact......

However, the officer should have noted that there was a medical emergency and got paramedics involved earlier. All he is guilty of is poor judgement and indifference.....

He is a madman if he shows up for court. He should have already hit Cabelas and got his hatchet, tent and backpack, and headed into the wilderness.
Spending the rest of your life as a mountain man recluse whittling and reading your Bible would be far preferable to unjustified life in prison because of that lowlife Floyd.

Officer Derek Chauvin should be given the Presidential Medal of Freedom which Bill Belichick so rudely scorned.

The reason career criminal George Floyd died is because he had 4 times the fatal level of Fentanyl is his bloodstream along with alcohol, marijuana, and other drugs. George Floyd couldn't breathe because the Fentanyl was paralyzing his lung muscles. George Floyd voluntarily "put himself to sleep" as though he were a sick animal in the veterinarian's office.

I for one sleep better at night knowing that dedicated officers like Derek Chauvin work ceaselessly to remove lowlife criminals like George Floyd from our streets.

Exactly, it was indeed a launching pad They spent about 3 weeks getting the blacks angry. First they tried the Arbery shooting in Georgia but it failed because everyone saw the video of him attacking and thieving.
Then Brionna Taylor was tried but it didn’t gain traction.

Finally they got a video that upset women with Floyd and it was off to the races.

It was the plan.

“Chauvin is charged with second-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in Floyd’s death.

Former officers Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng and Thomas Lane are each charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder, as well as aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter.”

“He gonna walk and then settle with his former employer for a couple of mil. He was following departmental policy the whole time Floyd was dying.”

No way he walks. We are beyond rule of law and solidly into the zone of outcome based law. Roberts let a presidential election get stolen out of fear of riots. They wouldn’t even break a sweat at locking up one unpopular cop.
And each jury member further knows they are targets if they don’t convict.

Both Floyd and this Chauvin look like scumbags to me. We’d all have been better off if the cop had thrown this scoundrel in the paddy wagon instead of kneeling on his neck with a smirk on his face.

No, he did not. That is a standard pin him to the ground technique. His airway was never obstructed by the officer, and the autopsy does not indicate neck injury or that being a cause of death.

With your own hand, try to choke yourself from the back of your neck. Then do it from the front.

He was following departmental policy the whole time Floyd was dying.

Further, Chauvin complied with all the department training, and was never in violation of department policy or procedure.

Finally, Floyd died of a narcotics overdose.

Chauvin IS guilty of aiding and abetting the suicide of the American Justice System.

I agree. Not justifying at all this dirty cop, but my point is, they were willing to use anything to launch their agenda. How many fabrications have they taken to the polls? Hands up don’t shoot?

Far as I’m concerned they can give this cop the chair. But they never really cared about floyd anyway.

Officer Chauvin was restraining a violent drug addict. George Floyd's airways weren't obstructed because Floyd could talk. If your airway is obstructed you can't talk.

Asking someone to talk is the first thing to do in order to diagnose if someone is choking to death. If they can't talk they are choking to death. Ask any doctor.

George Floyd was a blabbermouth, therefore he was not choking to death. His ability to breathe was compromised by the drugs in his system. His respiratory muscles were being paralyzed by the drugs.

Officer Chauvin was doing his best to restrain a violent criminal. He should be thanked.

Excited Delirium Syndrome

An additional hypothesis involves Excited Delirium Syndrome (EXD), a symptom of drug overdose which sometimes appears in the final minutes preceding death. EXD typically results from fatal drug abuse, in past years from cocaine or crack, more recently from fentanyl, which is 50 times more potent than heroin. Especially dangerous are street drugs like meth, heroin or cocaine laced with fentanyl.

According to an article in the Western Journal of Emergency Medicine (WJEM), 2011:[5]“Excited delirium (EXD) is characterized by agitation, aggression, acute distress and sudden death, often in the pre-hospital care setting. It is typically associated with the use of drugs. Subjects typically die from cardiopulmonary arrest… all accounts describe almost the exact same sequence of events: delirium with agitation (fear, panic, shouting, violence and hyperactivity), sudden cessation of struggle, respiratory arrest and death.”

I notice they've waited to try the case till after they think biden is gonna be president- An officers being tried for the death of a man who died from drug overdose.

He apparently had over the 'safe limit' of fentanyl in his system to kill a person, methamphetamine, pot, and also had covid

Floyd’s blood tests showed a concentration of Fentanyl of about three times the fatal dose. Fentanyl is a dangerous opioid 50 times more potent than heroin. It has rapidly become the most common cause of death among drug addicts.
