Apparently Gab is bare metal (own servers, like here) while Parler was on Amazon’s cloud.
They have their own servers so that shouldn’t be a problem, I guess. It’ll be their bank/credit card folks who could cause problems.
Wait until you check out their browser when everything works again. It creates a place to comment on EVERY page on the net, so the left can’t shut down comments on news articles anymore.
It’s called Dissenter and aside from that feature, it’s just Chrome, so all your extensions will still work.

That’s because it’s been delisted and removed from both the apple and google app stores.
Gab (https://gab.com) seems to be running normally this morning. It seems as though they finally got caught up with adding servers to handle the load.
Sounds like another enormous business opportunity, creating a new app store that doesn't censor speech.
