“We are writing this letter to request that a federal investigation be commenced and/or expedited regarding the scientific debate on major policy decisions during the COVID-19 crisis. In the course of our work, we have identified issues of a potentially criminal nature and believe this investigation necessary to ensure the interests of the public have been properly represented by those promoting certain pandemic policies,” the 40-page report begins.
The report posits that lockdowns originated “at the order of Xi Jinping” and “were propagated into global policy by the World Health Organization with little analysis or logic.”
It also attacks the models used by Western institutions to implement lockdowns as “the most alarmist and inaccurate” and traces recommendations for mechanical ventilation and PCR testing protocols to the Chinese Communist Party.
The report also concludes a “conspicuous Pro-China bias” exists among scientists and intellectual leaders who advocated for lockdowns.

Any investigation conducted will have a pre-determined outcome that Trump should have listened to China and the WHO more rather than be a racist and blame them for the virus while cutting funds for the WHO.
There’s that word again, “Investigation”. Another word which has become meaningless, similar to “Bombshell” and others that fell along the wayside.
Biased investigations can be deconstructed. Every lie is based on a grain of truth. Find and isolate the truth from the lie, and you explode the narrative.
For example, Biden said he had the most extensive and effective (what was the exact quote?) fraud team ever assembled. Glib explanation is, he meant anti-fraud team, he just was Bidenizing. To find the truth, examine his campaign’s public financial records, and find the “fraud team” and discover who was on it, and what they really were about. This is a journalist’s job. But if the Federal Elections whosawhatsit does an investigation and writes a report, that, too can be scrutinized by an enterprising journalist.

Oh, I see, like finding the number of votes exceeds the number of voters by 100s of thousands in the states and overall in the USA. Or that 99.99% of 1000s of votes cast with ballots that selected “U” (unidentified) as their gender voted Biden in Maricopa County, AZ. Or that 500,000 people in PA are the sole person in the whole state having their surname. Or the video evidence of a poll workers running the same ballots that were hidden under a table through the tabulation machine several times when everyone has been sent out of the tabulation room. Or the 70% adjudication rate in several states. Or that signature rejected ballots going from 3% to .02%.
That kind of scrutinization?
How to get away with a government crime - control the investigations and the courts. Easy peasy.
Find the culprits and expose them. Those 100s of thousands didn’t get up from their graves by themselves. Someone helped them do it, and those someones were on the Biden campaign payroll. And the courts, the legislatures, etc., may turn a blind eye. But the truth is the truth, and when all else fails, it comes out. And we have a constitutional right to report it. A journalist is anyone who says he’s a journalist and then commits journalism, no matter how many lying scumbags usurp that title and just push the narrative they’re told to.

Jumping ship in this case means moving to another planet or solar system ... somehow.
Or just despairing and poo poo-ing any action as futile, abandoning all interest in politics. Biden, et al., would love for the deplorables to do that.
Indeed, there is this schizophrenia with the word investigation, which should instead be a rallying cry for journalists to dare report as reporters what happened without fear of retribution or made up transferenced fear of “electing Trump”.
If any investigation should happen it should be our own stockholm syndrome...
