A Georgia man charged in connection with last week’s violent US Capitol riot has since died, according to a local report.
Christopher Stanton Georgia, 53, died at his home in Alpharetta on Saturday, Atlanta-based outlet 11Alive News reported.
An Alpharetta Police report obtained by the outlet did not list a cause of death, but said that Georgia’s death was “under investigation.”
Officers removed two rifles from Georgia’s home, the report said.
He had been charged with unlawful entry and violating a citywide curfew that took effect at 6 p.m. Wednesday, the night of the deadly siege in the nation’s capital.

Not easily to shoot ones self with a rifle.
He was arrested in DC. He went home to Georgia where he died. (Possibly by suicide).
Not easy. But possible. They removed 2 rifles. No handguns.
Where there’s a will there’s a way. My great grandfather killed himself with a shotgun. He sat on the edge of his bed with the butt of the shotgun against the baseboard and the barrel facing towards him. He was sitting on the side of the bed leaned his chest over the barrel of the shotgun and used a yardstick to squeeze the trigger.
Do you count the officer who committed suicide as well
Actually no. Hell no. I am still at a loss to understand how he is counted as among the “riot victims”.
But yet here we are. Honoring a “hero”. Even President Trump declared that flags will be lowered to half staff in honor of this loser along with a real hero like Ashli Babbitt.
Georgia is an 'at-will' state.

If you have enough liquid assets to do nothing but contemplate your navel for one full fiscal year, the freedom you receive internally, by the grace of God, will by its own nature force you to extend this liquidity to 5 years, to 15 years, and finally, rapidly to true financial independence.
[Surely BB&T had either fired him or indicated that they would do so.
