Former Texas congressman Ron Paul says he’s been blocked from using his Facebook page for unspecified violations of “community standards” as Big Tech purges users following last week’s Capitol riot.
Paul, a libertarian leader and critic of President Trump, tweeted a screenshot of his temporarily restricted Facebook page.
“With no explanation other than ‘repeatedly going against our community standards,’ @Facebook has blocked me from managing my page. Never have we received notice of violating community standards in the past and nowhere is the offending post identified,” Paul tweeted.
His most recent post linked to an article he wrote denouncing “shocking and chilling” censorship on social media.

In my dreams I am a libertarian. As a realist I understand that libertarianism is bit of a wild-eyed dream. But we all agree that the constitution as written is a good place to start.
It’s one of those times where any friend of liberty needs to be defended. Get back to policy stuff after totalitarians are defeated.

Ron Paul has a core following who will never leave him. He hasn’t been a politician in a while. He’s really a philosopher of small government and liberty
Its because libertarians are in many cases social morons.
They sit there and talk about how they feel certain thi gs dont have an impact on others in society, when they certainly do.
If in imginationland everyone really did live in a vacuum and didnt affect others, id be the first one on the train. But it never works becuase its the same reason why socialism doesnt work. Libertarians like socialists ignore the fundamental truths of actual living, breathing human beings. In the real world we dont act like a philosophy written down on a piece of paper.
