There were several common themes on Twitter in the hours following the attacks on the U.S. Capitol: Capitol Police were either in on it (people who didn’t need to be responsible when it came to the accuracy of their postings) or simply let the protesters do what they would (people who had to maintain some vestige of responsibility).
The implication is different based on who’s tweeting it, of course.
From liberals, it’s a sign that this is indicative of police employing a different tactic against rioting Trump supporters than they did against other rioters this summer during the Black Lives Matter protests. For conservatives, the implication is that this is all a setup. Yet both seem to think it’s prima facie obvious that the Capitol Police let people in.

I agree. One thing I noticed was that a number of the “protestors” were wearing gas masks. I would be shocked if these were Trump supporters since it would be unlike them to come to a demonstration prepared to confront the police and expecting to be hit with pepper spray or some other noxious gas. On the other hand, a hallmark of Antifa/BLM is that they come prepared to fight and usually have helmets, gas masks and body armor of some sort. While my observation proves nothing, it does raise a question in my mind about the Democrat narrative of “the evil Orange Man” and his supporters.
There is a video of the crowd chanting AN-TI-FA over and over and trying to break windows on those curved windows. Trump supporter pull them down to make them stop.
Sorry, I don’t see a cop laying face down on the ground getting beat by a bunch of Trump supporters. I see a bunch of flailing. I see a cop with a neon green/yellow jacket, whaling away at someone with his baton, and towards the end, I see the protestors pull another protester with no hat, in a dark jacket, out from the area where the cop was hitting someone. Then they fire pepper spray. In another report, someone with a white hat was reported to be hitting an officer. Show me where there is anyone with a white hat in that area, in that video?
For them, all that exists is a Quantum Void, matter, and the evolving energy (aka, creative force) that works on matter. This view was held by Karl Marx, Communism's dialectical materialists, Freud and Hitler plus Richard Dawkins, Carl Sagan, Britain's and America's Humanist Societies, and assorted permutations.
In this view, the Lord our God, souls, spirits, sin, miracles, eternally unchanging Moral Law, Truth, heaven, hell, meaning, and purpose do not exist.
Though this view places all power in their hands, it cannot provide them with an ultimate source for life, self (you), mind, will, or conscience. Hence the 'kings' who hate us have no clothes since by their own choice they have destroyed themselves. They are but soulless bio-machines who foolishly believe that out of chaos comes a new world order.
Capital Policemen let protestors in.

Hmmm... is that typical behavior of Trump supporters? And you know they are Trump supporters how? Run some facial recognition software?
Perhaps so, but I think I’ll stick with the media’s phrase du jour for the other riots that happened around the country. Those were called “mostly peaceful protests” while fires and looting was visible in the background. There were some bad players on January 6, but 95% of the people were just there not harming anybody.

With all the phone cams and video surveillance on Capitol Hill that day, I have yet to see a single image or video of the incident involving the Capitol Policeman who later died.
Nothing at the FBI website either, although there are lots of fugitive MAGA wanted posters.

It’s amazing how quickly the FBI was able to round up their suspects. They KNOW who the ANTIFA people are through facial recognition technology. So, they go after the ones NOT on their radar. It’s all a setup

Who were the Trump supporters in camo with back packs and gas masks? They seem to be the ones fighting with the capital police in the videos, even firing their own pepper spray.
Question: Do Trump supporters carry pepper spray and bats to Trump rallies?
Has anybody heard from the Capitol Cops yet? They might have good things to say about the real Trump supporters.
