Yep, no doubt. Absolutely baffles me though why any company would use something like Amazon of all things to act as their server.

Now they also need to sue Google and Twitter for interference with a contract.

The courts may intercede for breach of contract but not sure of the antitrust approach.....

Would have to see their arguments.....

Ooooohhh that’ll learn ‘em...

Too bad we can’t bring back dueling.

At this point, Bezos would either be a stone cold killer, dead, or a lot nicer to everyone...

There is no credible evidence that Parler has been removed from the internet. That claim has been debunked.

Anyone go into CM/ECF or Pacer and see if a judge was assigned? If so, who appointed them?

In more “normal” times, this would be encouraging. What Amazon did was clear violation of Antitrust and probably at least a dozen US laws on torturous business interference, breach of contract, monopolistic behavior, etc.

In today’s political climate? WHO KNOWS if this will even go anywhere or be heard by a court of law. Let’s hope so, cuz this CANNOT STAND.

If we were still America they would win.

If we were still America, they wouldn't have to sue in the first place.

Parler knew with reasonable certainty that Amazon would do this.

Thinking most of the research on the filing and couple of rough drafts were written several months ago and only required tweaking for the precise circumstances

Many companies (including lots in the Fortune 500) use Amazon Web Services as it’s one of the largest Web hosting options out there.

By the speaking of Parler, I started a Twitter account a few days ago using a fake name just to debate the lefties on there. Holy cow, it’s basically 100% communism. I post one anti-commie comment and I got like 40 replies in 15 minutes by people cursing me out “You don’t know what communism is! I bet you never even read Marx! Communism brings equality for all!” It’s absolutely unbelievable. We should invite these asshats on Freep one day, and have an open debate, just utterly tear them to shreds.

My bet is the courts defecate all over Parlar.

It's Parler, and I would take that bet. I'm thinking they are back online before the night.

Will Parler have standing? I’m glad they did this, though I think it has no chance of success. The time for voting and filing lawsuits has passed. The time to split things up is here.

They are the injured party. It isn't clear to me why they filed in federal court though. This looks like a simple contract dispute and federal courts do not have general jurisdiction over torts or contracts. Are Parlor and Amazon located in different states? Is there some federal law in question?
