House Democrats on Monday released a revised article of impeachment against President Trump.
The proposed resolution was drafted in response to last Wednesday's Capitol riot. The article, formally introduced on Monday, is based on a draft released one day after the riot.
The resolution charges Trump with "inciting violence against the government of the United States" first by "repeatedly issu[ing] false statements" about the presidential election as well as by speaking to the mob before it breached the Capitol.
Democrats are prepared to vote on the resolution this week. If it passes, it will be the second time the House has voted to impeach Trump.

He was referring to his own fight in that part of the speech. He noted that most people would simply give up instead.

Congress shat its pants when the patriots arrived. Can’t deny Trump told them to show up in the neighborhood after he got them riled up. Yes, he said no violence, but to avoid a fight you don’t send a man down to his ex-girlfriend’s house where she’s getting busy with his best friend with the windows open and tell him to behave. Rather, you buy him a drink, tell him to forget about her, and make sure he gets home.
So historically, yes, this is exactly when a legislature will decapitate an executive. To protect its privileges and teach future executives a lesson.
But this resolution is hogwash, and anyone who votes for its language is a liar. Which brings us back to the pants. You can get stains out of trousers, but you can’t bring burned pants back to life.

I actually believe there will be a resignation this week, followed by a Pence pardon.
About the only exit strategy now to make certain that Ross Perot 2.0 doesn’t actually tell everyone the real story. Or that might be the deal to make certain that DJT does not do an Assange/Snowden data dump of every server the US government owns...officially or otherwise.

That's my take, too. They themselves are inciting rebellion. Trying to outlaw MAGA rallies will just make them bigger. Everything they are doing is Stalinist purge tactics and guaranteed to make the backlash much bigger.

In this case they are staging an insurrection via election tampering, censorship, Article 25 and impeachment proceedings. It is not their first attempt. It may, however, be their last. Lord willing, it will be.
