They (police) all seem corrupted,

Does not matter that is still not a military prerogative. However, under the HarrisXiden Regime that may well change, since the Regime is not going to be bound by anything or by the Constitution. The Regime will do whatever it is told by China. We are, as of the 21st, an administrative district of China - for all intents and purposes.

Subsidized billionaire.

I might give you Tesla, but he just found a market niche and filled it.

But how exactly is SpaceX ‘subsidized’. Yes, the US government buys his launch services, but so do a lot of other companies.

Would you rather NASA keep paying Russia to launch our astronauts to the ISS?

And he doesn’t even get a break at KSC. He pays top dollar to use the launch facilities there, even when he’s launching US payloads.

My initial assessment of Musk was that he was completely nuts. I haven’t entirely changed my mind yet, but I’m seriously reconsidering.

He's eccentric but on the other hand he's a true visionary with the force of will to make his visions happen. Sure, he built Tesla on government Green grants but he made a viable electric car that blew away with GM was doing. And Space-X is outdoing NASA, who could have imagined? Steve Jobs was also a nut in many ways but he changed the world more than once. Mush is sort of the closest thing to Jobs that I can think of now.

I'm glad that for once a billionaire tech guy has decided to NOT be a fascist.

Second incarnation of the best side of Howard Hughes. Now to avoid HH’s reclusive latter life.

"The only question is, what will happen to make it go hot?

I think widespread gun confiscation would be a possible trigger. I'm sure there are others. It just depends on what makes enough people P.O.'ed enough to "go off".

Anybody who tries to change the world is nuts.

If you or I try to change the impending regime we are apt to end up in an insane asylum, just like many Russians did under Stalin...

It would be nice to have some “nuts” on our side for once.

I read once that SpaceX makes $50 Million every time they launch something into orbit.

Not every idea/company that Musk starts will be successful. However, this Starlink could put all of the cellular companies out of business.

Musk is the Edison of our generation.

Hi,

The last three times we’ve voted, the most recent being last November, voters have chosen statehood.

I don’t think we can compare mainland Puerto Rican voting trends with island Puerto Ricans. Even on the mainland, new southern Puerto Ricans (who moved from the island directly to Florida, Georgia, Texas) tend to be more conservative than the stereotypical northern Puerto Ricans (Newy York, Chicago, Boston, etc.). And on the island, most people are social conservatives even if fiscal liberals. Most definitively, there’s no Republican vs. Democrat tradition on the island. Our political parties are aligned differently.

On the local voting system, ours is manual paper ballots, voter registration and ID is required, prior to the election, and there’s one election official from EACH party at every vote counting station, and ALL must certify the count and the results for them to be valid. There’s barely any early voting, no mail in ballots, and absentee ballots are almost exclusively for those in the military or in college. Our system has been called archaic because of the non-existing voting machines. But I’d say it is pretty robust, safe and reliable.

Ditch the centralized server model and go distributed peer-to-peer for much of a social media application. The speed and memory capacity is available in consumer electronics to support everything but HD video. All the threads for various functions exist, just not as a cohesive whole for full functionality incorporating personnel privacy and security. Needs a bit more polish.

The owners of Twitter, Facebook, and Amazon Web Services aren't promoting lies because they're lunatic Leftists against President Trump. They're promoting lies because they know their empire can disappear if their users jump to other social media programs since the advertisers will follow them.

Their business model is dependent on software that any coder can write in a week. They hope to use this corrupt government to squelch their competition.

Signal is good but the most secure is Protonmail.
Whatsapp is NOT secure as they have access to all your keys.
On Protonmail, you have a key and your connection has a key.
Together they create a unique key which is not stored anywhere.

Just don’t forget your key or all your email will be unreadable forever.

So, any ideas what we do now?

1) Survive
1a) Keep your Social Credit Score in the Acceptable range

2) Do what you can to undermine without attracting attention - be creative

3) The take over will not end until it does
3a) The end will come in an unexpected way

What to expect from the coming Social Credit system:

The only question is, what will happen to make it go hot?

With one follow-up question:
When it goes hot, how will we even know?

Musk is the opposite of a libertarian. He makes money from government subsidies. Government subsidies don’t exist in a libertarian country.

Better to be "a little bit too libertarian" than "a little bit too progressive".
