There have been reports that companies such as Apple (maybe others) are planning an update to disable the Emergency Broadcast System (EBS) which is mandated by law on all smart phones. While we cannot confirm this, it is clear that actions are being directed against certain platforms and individuals due in part to certain political agendas. These actions have escalated since January 6, 2021, and taking place in a coordinated fashion.
As a pro-active measure, we strongly suggest persons receiving this message do the following:
1. Disable the auto-update feature on all network connected two-way communication devices. This would include smartphones, tablets, laptops, even watches. At the time of this writing, information on how to update these settings are still searchable. There are technical work arounds if updates are needed.
2. To all small and medium business using cloud based services: We suggested a nightly backup of all sensitive data to a local drive (i.e. detachable from the downloading device) with a routine retention policy (e.g. delete backups after a certain number of days). Note to businesses: Your company web staff should know how to do this, but insist that you - and not the web staff have a copy in your possession. All persons should download and keep hard copies of your personal contacts in case of operating system error.
3. Obtain the IP address of your websites where you receive information important to you. Use this in the event of domain traffic interruption.
That is all.
sounds a bit too tinfoil
Translation please.

Of course it does to those who think this election was legit and nothing illegal going on and normal for both parties and courts to have no interest in the evidence. Wake up!
you can add the ip/dns name to your hosts file.
Assuming this is true and I highly doubt it, how would disabling the Emergency Alert System have any effect on any of the 3 items you listed ??
Specifically #3, if the DNS system were disabled for some reason, DNS traffic would not all of a sudden stop working, most of the most common DNS entries are cached would still work for some time....but even if that was disabled, it wouldn’t take just specific websites, it would take down everything......So that is not going to happen...
But I’m will to hold off final judgement until General Tom Mcinerney tells us what to believe....
If JimRob has to change servers or backbones, this IP will be lost.
We need a path to learn the new IP if DNS lookup paths are severed.
Someone posted a shortwave frequency and time to listen for info. Worth posting that repeatedly as much as you are posting current IP address.
I am astounded by the measures currently being taken to completely silence President Trump and those associated with him. I am not convinced that this is completely motivated by hatred and an irrational desire to punish them/us. To me it smells a lot more like extreme fear. The question is what exactly are they afraid of and why?
But your suggestions are all very good. In their efforts to silence our President they do not care what collateral damage that they might cause. Destroying valuable data means nothing to them.
Drink grain alcohol and rain water only.
Maintain your Essence...
Everything about the 2020 Presidential election would have sounded like tinfoil too... Until it actually happened.
I no longer have a bar for suspending disbelief.
The President of the United States having his personal Twitter account being deleted and having a tweet removed from the OFFICIAL POTUS twitter account did too....a week ago.
Not today.
Example: reportedly Apple has removed Parler from its iPhone store. If you have that App on your phone already, an auto update to your phone could render your Parler App non-functional against your wishes.
I get that we’re waiting for something to happen, but why would they disable EBS when they’ll control it in 10 days.
Do you think they fear us? They do not fear us. They do not fear the signal for war getting out. They will control the cities and airports, and the machinery of government, and that’s all that they need for their own happiness. Mopping up the countryside will be forty years of sport for them, the highlight reels will be prime entertainment.
We have no unified command and control, nor will we ever agree on a commander. Defense is our only war game. Play defense, and speak the truth. They will be at your door before you know it.
Been seeing questions on diabling auto updates on phones, apple phones seem to be easy to do, some android phones not so easy.
My phone (and others here from reading comments) does not have an option to disable when going to settings/system updates.
Did a search and discovered the following instructions if you cannot see a option to diable updates on your android phone:
There’s another setting you should be able to toggle to disable automatic system updates, but it’s a little buried. Pull up Settings again and scroll down until you see the “About phone” section. Tap on that. Then, tap on the “Software Information” section, and scroll down until you see “Build Number.” Start tapping on that section until your device says that you’ve enabled “Developer mode.”
Then, head back to your primary Settings screen and scroll down. You should see a new “Developer options” section near “About phone.” Tap on it, and then look for the “Automatic system updates” option. Make sure it’s not enabled. That should prevent your phone from receiving automatic updates. But to be super-super sure, you can also purchase and sideload the Package Disabler Pro app. You’ll then use this to disable your device’s Software Update feature, which will keep it on the current version of your operating system forevermore.
Just did the above on my Samsung S8+ and was able to disable auto updates.
Exactly!
Thanks Jim !
