The Reform Party and the Tea Party both have stories to tell..nothin’ spectacular. They just “seem” to get tied up in a multitude of little knots.

Well, work is work. The UniParty is able to depress the Primary turnout - so in my opinion, there is a great deal of face time needed to get one's neighbors to show up in large numbers and vote either in the primaries or for a Third party candidate.

The Propaganda will not stop and the great unwashed are not good at paying attention until they are on the trains to Auschwitz or are de-platformed

It is very good but I still do not quite understand what Pence did so wrong.

I’m reading but any additional insight from the geniuses on this thread would be appreciated.

Each county has what we call the REC Republican Executive County. It’s not that hard to become a member. I have been one for years now and you do get to meet the people who pretty much run things and have some input.

Agree, but I would add that we need good candidates to oppose these swamp creatures. And money is always a problem in terms of funding the campaigns. Perhaps some sort of national organization could be set up to recruit and fund these candidates. No doubt, it would rile up the RNC, which would attack such an organization that is targeting Rep incumbents. So be it.

John Eastman lays out the case of what they wanted Pence to do, i.e., refer the disputed state electors back to the state legislatures to review. PA, AZ, and GA legislatures asked for delays in certifying their electors in letters to Pence, McConnell, and McCarthy.

Elections in the disputed states violated their own state laws. Under the US Constitution, the states have the sole responsibility for determine the electors.

Trump’s lawyer: Mike Pence misrepresented his task in letter

"And what [Pence] had been asked to do is recognize that they had been illegally given and send it back to the state legislatures and allow them -- and they're the proper constitutional authority in this instance -- to allow them to assess the situation in their own states and decide whether they can ratify the existing slate of electors or whether they were fraudulently given and should be altered," Eastman said.

Pence said in his letter that it was "my considered judgment that my oath to support and defend the Constitution constrains me from claiming unilateral authority to determine which electoral votes should be counted and which should not."

The issue, Eastman said, is whether or not Pence should allow the certification of electoral votes "that we know were illegally cast, as he acknowledged at the front end of the letter."

"And I'm sorry, a little petty statute against the constitutional obligation not to allow our Constitution to be shredded by allowing illegally cast electoral votes to decide the election? That should be an easy call," the attorney said.

His reference was to the Electoral Count Act of 1877, a law deemed unconstitutional by many scholars that minimizes the role of Congress in certifying the vote.

Every GOP creature who is slamming Trump is looking to run in 2024 since it is a great way to get rich.

I never watch any of these shows. Hosts, including Wallace, fueled by their leftism, serve only to bash Trump and conservatives. Commie guests babble their nonsense and those who support conservatism are chastised and belittled. After Sleepy Joe is in the White House these shows will be a love-fest for liberals.

Well Bray, I think you’re right.

Guy is leaving in less than two weeks and the Dems act like crazed nut jobs.

It’s not going to go over well.

But what do I know? I’d never have predicted the outcome as it turned out last week.

Woke up and decided to have a look at Fox and Friends on youtube, which I used to do regularly and rarely do now.

There’s Jason Chaffetz saying Pres Trump’s actions on 1/6 were reprehensible and shameful, and Jed Bila saying it’s impeachable, and PA Senator Toomey saying an impeachable offense was committed.

The crimes of 11/3 have gone totally under the rug. Not a peep about it.

They still don’t understand the MAGA movement, which is bigger than Trump.

::::::::

Agree. We maybe getting greyer but many of us vets know what has been sacrificed by our fathers and grandfathers to keep this country free in its truest sense.

The combination of media in all its forms, non inquisitive minds, short term Im offended thinking lead to the current events

Combine that with the outing of the mega country club who only thinks of themselves and you get the current state of Alice in wonderland.
