Agree, but I would add that we need good candidates to oppose these swamp creatures. And money is always a problem in terms of funding the campaigns. Perhaps some sort of national organization could be set up to recruit and fund these candidates. No doubt, it would rile up the RNC, which would attack such an organization that is targeting Rep incumbents. So be it.
Every GOP creature who is slamming Trump is looking to run in 2024 since it is a great way to get rich.
I would take exception to good candidates especially if in the General your choice is one between two weevils.
