You seem to be under the impression that the US has free and fair elections.
Here’s what I know....
....at least one senator and one representative have to “nominate” a state to have bad electors in that there were great issues with the state’s voting procedures.
Then each house of congress separates and they can then spend up to five minutes each discussing the matter. Then they come back and vote whether to dismiss the slate of electors that were reflecting these bad moves in the nominated states’ voting procedures.
Now that is what actually happened.
I am not sure how the VP had any input or affect on that procedure except I do know the VP is the President of the Senate.
So Pence could have thrown out the electors, in this case it was Georgia and Pennsylvania, and had the states rethink their procedures?
Does it say that somewhere in the constitution? Or is it assumed because he is president of the senate?
This was, in fact, what that famous phone call to the Georgia Sec of state by Trump was all about. The concept is that the states questioned for bad voting procedures was already being debated in court and Trump was doing some more debate via phone.
So Pence threw such chance out the window because, as he asserts, it was an action not allowed to him by the constitution.

I really do understand what you’re saying about people—conservatives mostly—not watching these shows.
This thread is more than just watching the shows, however, and hasn’t been since the earliest days.
No, for 22 years we’ve been analyzing the outright lies, the omissions, the fabrications, the deliberate misquotes without context and gas lighting of the DNCMedia.
An important aspect is not only what they SAY in the shows, but WHO gets to be a guest to say it.
Over the years there’s been a subset of guest who are perennials because the drivebys KNOW they can get good quotes to promote their narratives from them.
A good example used to be Joe Biden, who showed up just about every Sunday to spread his nonsense and “Look, man...” Then McCain also was brought on to stick a knife in the back of anyone conservative, while Tom Dashole and Momentum Joe Lieberman were added to soft-speak the democrat latest propaganda.
During “Russia, Russia, Russia”™, we got endless orchestrated appearances from Comey, Clapper, Brennan and General Michael Hayden (my old commanding officer, by the way). Each of these guys TESTIFIED under oath before Congress that there was no proof of Russian collusion, and then went on the shows and bald-faced lied that there was.
Nowadays it is usually Linda Graham, Hakim Jeffries, most of the NOPE’s from the dem primaries, Fauci, Brix and other operatives.
You can almost smell the spew they’re going to to put out.
Sometimes who is and who is NOT a guest tells all you need to know about the latest DNCMedia narrative.

I am more concerned about those who did not object to certification like my House Rep Nancy Mace and Sens Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham. At least those CYA votes showed some fear of the people who put them in office.
Disappointed with Jim Jordan this morning on his weak stance on the impending impeachment. He is pleading for unity instead of denouncing it in the strongest terms. Many Reps are afraid of going on the record and defending Trump. He committed no crime nor did the vast majority of Trump supports who attended the rally.
Moreover, those who entered the Capitol were mostly peaceful with very little damage being done. Anyone notice any graffiti? Destruction of the House and Senate chambers? Hopefully, we will find out more about ANTIFA and BLM involvement. This was a setup.
