During a Thursday interview on CNN,...A retired U.S. Marine Corps general, Kelly began serving as chief of staff in July 2017...Kelly said. "Of course, he is enraged because he's lost an election. Butt-hurt Kelly is just trying to show his Deep State bonafides...
> ...and how many of us thought they were good and solid until they showed their true character and loyalties? <
That’s a fair point. I never liked Bolton. Bolton is a warmonger. But I thought Gen. Mattis was a great choice for Secretary of Defense. How wrong I was.
It is the nature of those defeated in coups to denounce their former allegiance. It makes life safer . . . for a while.
Before Trump, there was eight years of W. Bush being a war President. The congress and military leadership liked that, while Democrats pretended to fight it. Then we got Obama who threw much of the military's gains away, gave them new wars to fight while not finishing the old ones. The congress and military leadership were OK with that.
Then we got Trump, who had enough of war, and no one in Congress or the military or congress liked that at all. Including all the antiwar activists who were largely silent for the last four years.
What I realized after Trump was in office was the way Obama was especially bad. It was not just his policies. It was how he affected the running of the Federal government. He let everyone in the Federal Government to feed their vices unchecked by any restraint. Hillary and Biden got to line their pockets (the real Ukraine scandal). Congress doubled the national debt and patted themselves on the back. The military got to emphasis special and covert operations, without clear national policy as to what the goals were. Mueller then Comey turned the FBI and the FISA courts into near secret police above the law.
When Trump came in, massive corruption was normalized, and he was the enemy. The FBI did not want Flynn auditing what was going on in Intelligence, and wanted to cover themselves, so he was the first that had to go. Framing a General to protect themselves was not a problem for the DOJ and FBI, and the news and congress went along with it.
That is what Trump was up against from the day Hillary found out she was not elected queen.
(Apologies for the half response and half rant. The last two months have been to much and the next four years are going to redefine what suck means.)
As a Marine, I am glad I never have had to serve under the POS.
Need the t-shirts, hats, banners, mugs, prints of the oil painting with him shaking hands with General Washington, etc.
No comment. What I want to say is is equivalent to what I want to do to ......I have no respect whatsoever of those who have zero critical thinking skills and run their mouths like little girls in a elementary school. Just think, this clown was a general. I find that most in the government and media once thought of as Republican,"right" or "conservative" are just as loathsome as the left and the treachery and Judas nature makes them as bad as the left.
TDS is fatal to the individual and to the Republic. Dems have gone batshit crazy. They fear Trump is going to name a Special Counsel to investigate Biden and another election fraud.
You’ve got that right. Part of me wants to just ignore it all, and just sit at home and watch episodes from my ‘Leave It To Beaver’ DVD collection. Yes, that wouldn’t be very patriotic. But it would do wonders for my blood pressure.
We had our share in the Army, too. They’re more political and in it for themselves, those kind. Being in a combat platoon was like being a world away from the other kinds of units in some ways (even in the National Guard). I was allowed to try a REMF unit (called “combat heavy” but not really combat) for one year after enlistment with the combat unit (”cbt”) ended. It was a culture shock for me—very different. Discharged after that year.
I left the first (combat) unit, because the new, young commander allowed a prior Navy man (or person) to be my platoon sergeant. He was a social worker in his civilian job and way politically correct. That was it for me. Should have gone regular Army to begin with.
Go F-— Yourself Kelly, you treasonous POS, and the same goes for your mama!
Is there anyone he appointed who has not stabbed him in the back? Geez.
“A Freeper recently said that Trump would have been better off randomly picking people from a telephone book. That sounds about right.”
I agree. In retrospect Mike Pence was a wrong pick too. A blunder in fact. But to be fair back then Trump didn’t know the swamp as well as he does now.
Dark Day for America – Will Trump Strike Back? – Alex Newman
Journalist Alex Newman says if you think the certification of Joe Biden as President means it’s over, you are wrong. It is not over, and the Deep State coup plotters are afraid of President Trump invoking something called the “Insurrection Act.” That act allows him to stop a coup or an attack on America by using the military or militia.
Trump has said that he has tried to overturn the fraudulent election by all legal means and has failed. Newman says, “Former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) General Michael Flynn says he is 100% sure Trump will be President for the next four years. He said it was a ten out of ten. Flynn knows things we don’t know, and Flynn is dealing with the President on a regular basis. . . . The President has to understand that if he walks away, they are never going to leave him alone. . . . It’s a dark day for America.
There are a lot of people that think the President is considering various options (such as the Insurrection Act). I get the sense that the Deep State swamp monsters are absolutely freaking out. There are a few reasons why I say this. One is the hysteria of removing the President under the 25th Amendment, and if that fails, then going for an impeachment. Why?
If you really believe the guy’s gone in two weeks, if he’s been defeated and you’ve got him in checkmate and there is nothing more he can do, why are you so anxious to get him out of there? I think they are worried about massive declassification. . . . I also think there is something else. Several former Defense Secretaries have written a letter and told the President that he should not invoke the Insurrection Act. Some generals that I was recently on a call with say he must invoke the Insurrection Act. I don’t know what he’s going to do, and I am not making any predictions, but I do think there are many powerful people in Washington that are terrified of what he might do in the next two weeks.”
