FOUR WEEK TOTAL CALIFORNIA LOCKDOWN COMING—SOON
Ca Political Review ^ | 01/06/2021 | Stephen Frank

Posted on 01/08/2021 11:05:03 AM PST by Kevin in California

This is how it starts, with an article here, an interview there. Scotland is now under a total nationwide lockdown. I think even dogs and cats are included. England is about to issue a total national lockdown. Here we have an influential Democrat State Senator—supported by Republicans like Catherine Baker, calling for a complete and absolute statewide lockdown—for four weeks.

In March, Dr. Strangelove, Anthony Fauci told us a two week national shutdown would end the crisis. He knew he was lying. So, why would we expect a four week lockdown to work—or last just four weeks? Why are they calling for it now?

Because churches are opening, without government permission. Rallies and gatherings are being held all over the State. People have come to realize that masks, curfews, social distancing have not worked and need to end. If government will not end them, then the people by ignoring government will. Hence the call for a total lockdown. The big question is, who will enforce this? What happens when millions of Californians ignore Newsom and his destructive Democrat buddies?

Our Church in NorCal meets in person and will continue to do so. The Sheriff will not prevent our meetings, basically he agrees. Newsom is a dirty word around here.

Im in CA—we really are already in one. Almost every county is “deep purple.”

A total lockdown would have the same “essential” exceptions for doctors and dentists and fast food and stores, I’d imagine.

Maybe they’d finally close dog groomers? Ha ha.

Golden Gate Fields, the horse track in northern California which has been closed since mid-November, announced today it will resume live racing January 15. Santa Anita, in southern Cal and prior to that others tracks in the area, have been running nearly on schedule.

Hi everyone, I don’t know how closely you follow the cases, etc. but I follow Colorado daily and look at other states for comparison.

Colorado had been dropping in cases since Nov. 13, and doin quite nicely, moving from 6,000 daily to around 1,400. About a week ago cases started moving up quickly. I’m hoping that the beginning of a Christmas/New Year’s spike that will be short-lived. If so, cases will start to level off soon.

During CO’s bad period, 22% of hospital beds were occupied by COVID patients. Yesterday, that was 10%.

Hospitalizations went from a high of around 1,800 total to about 900 as of yesterday.

Death reporting is screwed up so hard to read other than general trends. Deaths went up, then back down during this same Nov-Jan period. Deaths have been much lower as a percentage of cases during this wave compared to the first wave this spring.

Colorado rates each county, and restrictions vary depending on the rating. My county is doing pretty well, so the wife’s gym is open, for example. Some eateries have eat-in dining
available, others are doing outside patio and to-go services only. Masks, and the usual blah blah blah are “suggested”, but some don’t wear them, including me if I’m in a store over a few minutes. I put it back on to check out. I’ve never seen any Karen incident here.

Pretty smart. Harder to get recall signatures that way.

That's what this is all about. We need 500,000 more.

There must be bodies everywhere.

If the Democrats can make you ignore your own sight and experience, then they can easily steal from you.

Unbelievable. Hubby is from California - Bay Area. He left this sorry state about 30 years ago, and never looked back.

Connecticut (where we live) looks like a Red State compared to California: Our gyms, indoor swimming pools, hair and nail salons have been open since about June. Lots of new rules and regulations, but..... they're open.

Restaurants are at 50% indoor capacity. We were at 75%, but the Governor did cut it back a bit because of the recent COVID surges. If we could have outdoor dining (too cold now), business would be pretty good for those restaurants.

Of course nobody would be able to live or work in any of it.

There would be no incomes and no businesses left.

The government would find work for EVERYONE...
Better make the norm citizen.
Or as they said in the Soviet Union...
They pretend to pay us, we pretend to work.
It was called “Tufta” or padding the norm.

Imagine the entire nation on lock down.
Then imagine five chinese flagged mega ships
scuttled at the entrance to our largest ports.
As Lennon said, “It’s easy if you try.”.

So are Fidel Che Gruesome’s CV 19 restrictions, Coercive Control over Californians?:

New California Law Recognizes Coercive Control as Form of Domestic Violence
Castro Law Offices ^ | January 4, 2021 | Castro Law Offices

Despite California Courts recognizing the concept of coercive control, there was no actual statutory prohibition against this form of domestic abuse. That changed in September 2020 when the Governor of California signed a bill into law clarifying the state’s Domestic Violence Prevention Act that coercive control constitutes a form of domestic abuse.

Specifically, the law amends Section 6320 of the Family Code so that “disturbing the peace of the other party” (which is grounds to obtain a DV Restraining order) includes coercive control. The California legislature unequivocally recognized that actions that result in the destruction of “mental or emotional calm” of a victim is a form of domestic abuse, even when there is no act of physical violence.
