My thinking is that the Democrats are scared because they just got ran out of town. They know that Trump will get the support of over 74 million loyal voters to keep them on the run if he so desires. It would only take one tweet.

This is the American way. It's called peaceful transfer of power after free and fair election. We are about to lose this uniquely American political institution. There other option is political violence and possibly assassination squads The key is to verify that the election was free and fair.
There is no other valid option.
We just saw a soccer mom storming the Capitol Building get blown away by a police officer in riot gear gunning an M4 carbine.
That's just f**king crazy wrong.
It has come to this point and will only get worse if we don't have a full and fair accounting of the legal votes in this election.
Our elected officials need to do their duty and forensically audit an election with obvious irregularities or the entire country will be burning by summer.
The anger out in fly over is white hot and a lot of elected officials and media flacks have been irresponsibly putting themselves and the rest of the country on the spot.
Lets walk this one back before things get overheated.
Restoring legitimacy to this election via fair counting of all legal votes is our only option to avoid serious trouble. We need to make our resolve on this issue clear to our elected officials in firm, but peaceful fashion

Habit is the only reason I can think of. When they start treating him with a lack of respect after he leaves office maybe he'll find an alternative. His base will follow him no matter where he is.
Whoever issued the shoot-on-sight order must have known that the brutal killing of one protestor would cause the others to become mortified, retreat and exit, that Trump would be blamed for the shooting, and that they could then proceed once again at full speed toward their goal of replacing Trump with Harris.

This happened today and there was a Kent State moment where an officer dressed in riot gear shot and probably killed a soccer mom inside the Capitol Building.
Totally unacceptable and the risk of backlash and things spinning out of control about as bad as it gets.
Why did POTUS ask patriots to come to D.C.? I thought there would be some wonderful development.
