U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., told "Fox & Friends" there is "no question" she will carry her Glock handgun in Washington, D.C., despite pushback from the chief of police.
The newly elected lawmaker and owner of Shooters Grill in Rifle, Colo., defended her viral ad Tuesday.
"It's right there in our Constitution. It's an amendment to our Constitution, and there's an absolute uproar over people wanting to defend myself," the 34-year-old mother of four said.
"I mean, come on. I'm 5-foot, 100 pounds. I am now in one of the most dangerous cities in America. The violent crime rate here is 158% times the national average. I will be walking alone a lot," she said.
"Just like I say in my ad, being a member of Congress is pretty basic. I don't go to work in an armored vehicle. I don't have personal police escorts. I am my own security here and my most basic right is my right to defend myself," Boebert concluded.
Metropolitan Police Chief Robert Contee III said during a press conference Monday that he will reach out to the Colorado lawmaker about her plans, noting he wants to ensure "she is aware of what the laws of the District of Columbia are."
"That congresswoman will be subjected to the same penalties as anyone else that’s caught on the D.C. streets carrying a firearm," Contee added.

From Article I, Section 6 of the Constitution:
They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.
Tell them to KMA !!!

2A was very clearly written so we the people can keep and bear the same weapons the government (military) has so that “when government becomes destructive of those ends it is the right of the people to alter or abolish that government” it will be a fair fight.
I agree with Boebert.
The Chief of Police of Wash DC does not have a “right” to change the Constitution. Each and every one of us has the right to defend ourselves.
Our Nation is suffering a great malady brought about by believing our government would protect and care for its citizens at all times and and for virtually all reasons. Basically that was a good assumption.
I have always believed good behavior of all citizens was a prerequisite for good government, one that doesn’t take advantage of its citizens.
I think we have gone the hole of bullydom and “If I want it, it is mine period.” And when I think about it, it is even worse, much worse than that. It is really about if “I don’t like you, you shouldn’t exist!”.
I think it is time to separate the into two or 4 nation states.

You’ll see a whole different legal environment in regards to firearms during the years to come. The consequences of failing to get the vote out will be realized by those who’ve been indulging in fantasies.

We DID get the vote out on November 3rd, in spades, and it didn’t matter. All it did was slightly inconvenience the leftist vote thieves and make them work a little harder. It’s time to snap out of the voting illusion and recalibrate to the new reality.
Since our elected officials and “justice” system have completely abandoned the rule of law, the only (non-violent) way we can exert our will in this new lawless environment is to develop a more sophisticated and effective election cheating system than the dems’ system. Hate to be so cynical, but that’s where we are now.

That’s a fallacy. If we don’t get the vote out, we lose whether the other side cheats or not. If we do get the vote out, we could win either way.
Getting the vote out means to first educate oneself, then to educate other voters all of the time without ceasing—not only briefly before elections. We haven’t been getting the vote out for generations.
Think about the demographics of those who tend to routinely blame others for their own failures. Drug addicts would comprise one such demographic.
The very minute that you post one concrete idea on "whatever it takes to win" is the moment that the fbi, one of the 99.9% good, hard working agents, kick in your door, and put you into cuffs or the coroner's wagon.
You are too smart to post anything real, just vague platitudes about submitting to tyranny.
The question is will they allow her to carry in the Capitol and would Pelosi allow her to carry on the floor of the House?

We passed the stage long ago during the mass riots, mayhem and anarchy the Dems unleashed on the country since May.
