BREAKING: U.S. Attorney for North Georgia resigns, effective immediately

U.S. Attorney Byung J. “BJay” Pak resigned his position Monday, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia. In October 2017, Pak was sworn into the office. He previously served as an assistant U.S. Attorney from 2002 to 2008 and in the Georgia General Assembly as a state representative from January 2011 to January 2017. Pak’s office offered no further comment about the resignation.

He had previously stated he would stay until Jan. 20. Now he resigns today, effective immediately. On the phone call last night between Trump and Rat-boy, Trump refers to him, saying "You've got that never-Trumper US attorney down there."

I believe acting appointments may be made.
GWB made the mistake of only firing a few US Attorneys. Thus he was mercilessly attacked by the press for making the firings political. Most Presidents fire all of them so it’s not considered political. See how that works.
And now they start running and hiding.

I have no ideal who these American Soldiers are, and what they will be doing in
Atlanta.
Whoever he replaces will be replaced again in 16 days.
It’s hard to tell without seeing rank, but Soldiers in BCT and AIT go home for Christmas, (It’s called Exodus). Soldiers undergoing BCT and AIT at Ft. Benning and AIT at Ft. Gordon, would cycle through the Atlanta airport on return.
