Wait, I changed my mind from the headline. Let’s unify this sucker. Let’s all work together for a brighter tomorrow and join the team and bring in the big win. Let’s have a big circle of hugs and solidarity where we rally around shared values and norms. Except how about we normal people get to pick those values and norms, not the garbage elite that presumes to rule us?
Just kidding! The idea that we might have some legitimate interests and policy preferences is outrageous and seditious and probably transphobic and generally doubleplusungood. We need to give them up and submit, er, unify. After all, the purpose of this unity babble is to shut us up, to cause us to voluntarily submit, and to get out of the way of the leftist globalist reset desired by these corruptocrats, who match their soaring incompetence only with their inexplicable self-regard. Sinophilic geriatric weirdo Joe Biden* will almost certainly be sworn in this month, the ravings of the Twitter fantasists notwithstanding, but don’t ask me to treat His Fraudulence like anything but the vaguely aware interloper he is, occupying the White House solely due to a confluence of rigging, GOP idiocy, and slobbering media tongue-bathing.
One need not believe in either unicorns or krakens to understand that what happened in November 2020 was a mammoth scam and disgrace, and our naïve Constitution, with courts demanding standing and a presumption of regularity and all that old-fashioned stuff, was unable to deal with the outright, blatant steal. The establishment leveraged the way we designed our system, assuming the good faith of both sides, into a cheat that will cause untold damage to our country. Now the cabal may wish to put behind us the whole unpleasantness about destroying all the norms in order to barely thieve back what the voters took from them as recompense in 2016, but that’s not happening.
Unify this, jerks. We’re not interested in normalcy that equals serfdom.
They have no moral authority over me, or you, and the actual hard power they temporarily and tentatively hold is backed up only by social inertia (where people just go along not really realizing how much has changed) and the guns of those who have not yet chosen to drop them and refuse to comply. There will always be a few doughnut munchers who, with their pensions on their minds, will hassle a mom in a park because she hasn’t wrapped a bandana around her kid’s mouth, but other cops are voting with their feet. The big blue city police departments can’t keep folks on the job, and I expect military recruiting to nosedive as those of us in the caste that makes up the armed forces – it sure ain’t the pierced pronoun posse, except at the officer level, which is a whole other column – decide that if Asterisk and his pals want someone to die in their next idiotic war, they can go recruit him/her/them out of a gender studies seminar at Gumbo State.
It’s hard to run a machine when the cogs you have nothing but contempt for quit turning. As for me, I’m not unifying. I’m going to burn everything I can to the ground. Show me an institution worth saving in its present form and I’ll show you an exception that proves the rule.
No, I’m not ready to make nice, not by a longshot. And I know things will get worse. I bet Georgia will go blue on January 6th – I hope I am wrong but, once again we have that classic triad at play, the confluence of rigging, GOP idiocy, and slobbering media tongue-bathing. So, the garbage Democrats will have a rickety hold on Congress and will try to break the filibuster, again forgetting how Ft. Sumpter worked out. Down the road, we normals will take power back and then there will be a reckoning. I am a huge proponent of vengeance. In game theory, the data show that where a player makes the choice not to cooperate and graduate in the hopes of increased individual reward, the only effective response is massive retaliation. I say go with that when we are back in the saddle.
Now, the Kraken Clique insists that this will be our last election and we will be forever doomed and so on and so forth and that merely reveals an ignorance of history and how things tend to happen over time. Nothing is static. Nothing never changes. The inevitable failure of the neo-socialist limo lib plan, where all America turns into San Francisco, complete with hypodermic needle punji sticks and towering mounds of used soup kitchen baloney sandwiches on every sidewalk, will mean blowback. We’ve seen it before. When those Chardonnay-swilling mommies in the suburbs find some bum squatting on the lawn of her McMansion, her huffy refusal to vote for Trump because Bad Orange Man tweeted mean stuff will vanish as she seeks an avenger to keep the allegedly downtrodden at bay. Those oppressed criminals, junkies, hobos, and Antifa creeps that the coming admin* admires are fun in theory but not so much in practice.
That is not to say that there is some bottom for the left at which it ceases digging, but that eventually the rest of us will stop tolerating the Venezuela-izing of America. It always happens through history, that the intolerable stops being tolerated. And if the Dems do effectively eliminate the possibility of electoral change once freed of the constraints of the filibuster, well, the history is rife with examples of other, less orderly transitions. And if that happens, I like our odds.
Their only hope for long-term power is to make you shrug and accept it. You have to unify, but under them, and to do so by accepting whatever they hand you. The pandemic is a lucky break for them – yeah, their Peking pals killed a third of a million of us but what an opportunity it has presented to crush the kulaks, separate us from our churches, and make us beg for a couple grand in spending money. Don’t let them win. Don’t concede. Fight all the time. Use the Constitutional processes against them until such time as there are no more processes. And when that happens, adapt and overcome.

I usually enjoy Schlichter’s writing, which is often laced with humor. I also embraced his message in this one, which is light on humor, but heavy on a theme in which I’m in 100% agreement.
I’ve come to a point — very quickly — that I don’t feel like a proud, law-abiding American. The example being thrust before me is, simply, do whatever you feel is necessary to achieve your own selfish objectives. If it’s legal, moral and fair - fine. If not, that’s ok, too. Maybe even better.
From now on, I’ll ‘obey’ the laws that I think are the right way to live my life and do what’s best for my family. If there’s something that I find ‘inconvenient’, I’ll think hard and weigh the consequences of getting caught at ignoring the laws our betters have imposed upon us.

This is already happening in our residential neighborhood across from a shopping mall in Tampa. Vagrant drugged out on a homeowner's private property the other day no one cared one wit. Property owners not home and the vagrant was behind their back fence on the banks of the retention pond but still on property that is deeded into their lot. Called Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office (Chad Chronister, the RINO Sheriff) bottom line reply direct from an environmental safety deputy was: "Homelessness is not a crime. And HCSO is not going to be the Gestapo".

I agree with Kurt’s title. I have no intention of unifying with a group of people who demand nothing less than having the government completely subjugate me or make me a felon overnight if I choose not to comply with their Unconstitutional rules.
