The electoral commission proposed by a group of 11 Republican senators would look at alleged election irregularities, Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) said Saturday.
“They’re gathering all the information and they’re challenging every single thing that’s out there. I mean, everything from Sharpies on ballots in Arizona to suitcases of ballots under tables in Georgia to laws that were changed to individuals that were dead or that moved or from out of state that voted,” Lankford said during an appearance on Fox News.
“All those things demand us to be able to take a look at. We have got to take take it seriously about this moment, because there were so many areas that are out there. Some are rumor, some are fact. But those are facts, we have to be able to resolve and determine is this election settled? And then what do we do from here on out.”
Arizona officials have said Sharpies did not cause ballots to be rejected while officials in Georgia acknowledged that poll workers counted ballots for over an hour on Election Night after observers and media went home. Lawyers for President Donald Trump’s campaign alleged last month that 1,500 dead voters in Nevada cast ballots while multiple states are accused of counting votes from voters who had moved away.
Lankford is one of 11 senators who earlier in the day pledged to object to electoral votes during the Jan. 6 joint session of Congress, unless Congress authorizes an election commission to review the 2020 election process.
The commission would be modeled on what was formed in 1877 to resolve the electoral issues in the election the previous year. Three states—Florida, Louisiana, and South Carolina—had reports of voter fraud, leading to a contested election without a clear winner.

It is the right thing to do. No President should serve under a cloud of fraud, though our current President serves under a cloud of fraudulent fraud.
We only need 1 fact - were packets of election results from the US Presidential election found in Frankfurt, Ger., that contain MAC device address(es) that match voting machine using the malware found on Dominion, ES&S, DieBold, etc. machines, and which states were they located in?
When that is determined, VP Pence should make a motion to RECUSE the Governors, Senators, and Representatives recently elected using those machines from further participation in selecting our President because the machines used to elect them do not meet Federal Certification requirements for machines used in Fed elections.
I don’t trust any commission where Dems and RINOs would outnumber patriots. It wouldn’t matter what evidence was presented.

I’m in Oklahoma. Lankford is not well thought of by conservatives. If I ever had any dealing with him, I’d sure keep my hand on my wallet.

The Republican controlled Legislatures in the six contested states have had more than two months to look.
Where was Langford on November 4, 2020?
Why wasn’t Langford demanding the Republican controlled Legislatures in the six contested states immediately impound all of the election documents on November 4th?
The GOP Senators do not want to debate the challenges on January 6th because that will put them on record.
This Commission is another stall tactic to do nothing. Something the GOP Senators are skilled at.

It’s getting so it’s hard to remember who the very few true patriots are sometimes..People like McConnel and Graham are pretty obvious but some of the others can be shady to say the least and pretty much go whatever way the wind blows.
Yes, some stupid commission is supposed to appease the masses. We’re so stupid, we’ll think they’re actually doing something.
If the Carlyle Group is part of the investigation then it will be no different the the “recounts” we’ve been watching.
My problem with this strategy or the more likely 2 hour debate version is:

Yes, what a difference a day makes. Yesterday on FreeRepublic anyone who voiced a concern that the Cruz et al letter was just a bunch of kabuki theater was shamed.
Today, the tone seems to have changed. Lots of FReepers are now questioning the probable motives behind the Cruz et al letter
