Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler admitted his policies in dealing with Antifa anarchists failed. He called for new enforcement actions and asked for federal and state assistance in dealing with the lawlessness.
“My good-faith efforts at de-escalation have been met with ongoing violence and even scorn from radical Antifa and anarchists,” Wheeler said in a New Year’s Day press conference. “In response, it will be necessary to use additional tools and to push the limits of the tools we already have to bring the criminal destruction and violence to an end.”

He is asking for Federal help, is that not then the Governor shirking his legal ability to call ML in his state??
Seeing he has that power, and president the left through him are just trying to pass the hot potato to DJT for publicity points only.
Trump won’t handle it. He’d be smart to leave it for the democrats to deal with in Feb. if this last election moment fails. It would be wise to wait until after the inaugeration.
Second, this is the mayor signaling to leadership that the tribe has moved off the reservation. Meaning, things are now out of control. Which was always a the real risk in provoking this behavior all year long. Did they really believe these people would just settle down once Biden was elected? Did they really believe they’d be able to hold them in line?
No matter who is President or what programs are put in place the next few years are going to wild. And that is mostly the democrat communist’s fault. I will lay some of this at Trump’s feet too, but with every obstacle thrown at him the last 4 years...he needed to have the military help drain the swamp. We see them as the filthy traitors they are and yet, nothing has been done to stop them.

The DA in Portland is a Soros Puppet and has been releasing and dropping charges against an Antifa punk rioting....
You can arrest all the people you want, but if they get released and not charged with a crime, it’s a waste of money....
