MAGA fans have taken to the streets in Oregon and California to show their support for President Trump and to protest lockdown orders put in place amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hundreds of anti-lockdown protesters were seen in Salem, Oregon on Thursday afternoon, many of whom were waving Trump flags as they urged officials to reopen businesses.
Police declared the event unlawful and dispersed protesters with impact munitions and flash bang grenades after the group refused to leave downtown.
Several protesters became angered by that move and were pictured facing off with officer clad in riot gear.
Others launched their own smoke grenades and 'several people were arrested', according to local police.
Meanwhile, other protesters assembled outside the gated mansion of Governor Kate Brown, claiming that the Democrat's lockdown orders were a violation of their liberties.
To the south, in Pasadena, California, MAGA fans showed their support for President Trump as he continues to cry foul about the results of the presidential election.

Elections don’t matter, so the Rule of Law doesn’t matter.
Police will quickly declare an unlawful assembly for MAGA flag-waving Americans while they were very slow to do this for rioters who were looting and burning. There is no longer any such thing as equal justice in the USA.
Not a very smart move by the cops to turn on the people who support you the most.

I'm starting to think when it really hits the fan, when real fighting starts happening, the police aren't going to be on our side folks. Maybe some of the FReepers who criticized the police in the past were right after all.

Remember when the Back the Blue rally in Denver was attacked and beaten by Antifa/BLM rioters, the cops stood by and did nothing. In Charlottesville, the cops stood by and did nothing as Antifa rioters who had no permit to be there attacked the anti-taking down statues demonstrators who had a permit to be there. My trust in cops has declined significantly over the last year.
Cops are cowards that only about the following:
1. Their paycheck
2. Their pension
3. Not getting injured or killed
They allowed BLM / Antifa to riot, rape, assault and murder because to do otherwise may have cost them their jobs (paychecks & pensions). Again, cowards. But now there are no protections for peaceful Trump MAGA supporters so the cowards will gladly attack them.
Meanwhile BLM/Antifa run free.

Urban, Democrat run police are little more than statist thugs. They don’t care about the Constitution, the law, or you. All that matters is that you cower before their power and pay for their pensions.
Defund the urban police and let elected and accountable sheriffs replace them.

Some cops apparently have sworn an oath to their paychecks and the liberal bureaucrats who control them. They will NOT be on our side when things get hot.
