Go back to the Obama or Clinton years and imagine what people would’ve said if a right wing talk show host had discussed anyone in elected office never mind VPOTUS being rounded up and summarily executed...
Or if a leftist had said it in the Bush years.
Here we are in 2021 with a right wing lawyer representing a right wing POTUS actively talking about summarily executing POTUS’ second in command.
That’s not Conservative talk, that’s crazy talk.
President Trump deserves to be serving a second term and there was a Steal, but to get the country back to some semblance of unity you need more than MAGA fundamentalists and the Trump Fan Club on POTUS’ side.
And psychotic purging statements from the President’s most ardent supporters really aren’t going to help the cause. Many Trump supporters want to back POTUS, but are already deeply worried that reinstating his win is going to result in GOP having a jolly good time having the Leninists and fifth column strung up on every lamp post.
Six months ago I would have dismissed such theories as outlandish but when Lin Wood is calling for THAT high a figure to be strung up, it tells me that too many people in Trump’s inner camp are tolerating the kind of talk that saw Germany in the 30s go from ‘make the country great again’ to ‘join us or die’.
Lin has developed a Jim Jones complex. He wants you to drink his koolaide.

They aren’t absurd ideas in terms of Deep State corruption and the sellout of our country—just in terms of actually justice being served in response to the corruption and sellout of our country.
A necessary proviso: Wood’s comments are certainly alarming. I have not, and would not make such statements directed to a specific individual.
I both respect and like Mike Pence. I have no doubts about his integrity and regard for the Constitution — thus far.
We are facing a serious Constitutional and Civil Rights crisis — our Vote has been stolen, and so in effect has the Country — not trivial matters.
I agree with the severity level of Wood’s alarm. But to get hung up the “offending” semantics is to demonstrate the apathy that’s squandered our liberties. Spewing one’s “virtue” is childish and idiotic.
Knowingly stealing one’s vote should be a capital crime. Period.
I wonder if Wood is trolling in Trump fashion — Letting Pence know he’s on their radar, letting other DS rats know it, too, and watching for hurt pride reactions, facial twitches, slip-ups.
Unless Wood has some super far out strategy designed to sew up the election for Trump with his outrageous remarks, then I’d say this guy is just nuttier than the proverbial fruit cake.
His remarks actually make him appear to be a leftist, for the majority of them are batshit crazy and also make goofball remarks.
Maybe there are ulterior motives here. Maybe this loon sided in with Powell to give his presence a degree of legitimacy and thus be recognized in the Trump camp. Now that he is associated with Trump, he can act like a loon in hopes the public sees Trump in the same light for having him as his attorney. (I know he is not Trump’s attorney, but the public has been led to believe so)

Fast-forward to Super Bowl XLIX, the Seahawks have First and goal with under a minute to go but are trailing by 4/need a TD. The Patriots do NOT take a time out or let Seattle score in order to get the ball back. This time, New England wins on one of the greatest awareness interceptions ever, by Malcolm Butler (or Win because Seattle called the dumbest play ever, but that's for another day).
The Patriots coach later said he didn't take the timeout against Seattle because he saw that "something wasn't right" on the Seahawk's sideline - i.e. There was some "fog" - and he didn't want to give them a chance to clear things up.
I am willing to cut Trump slack...he knows what he is doing and won before and pulled rabbits out of hats. I also believe Pence is with our President.
I also believe Wood is off his rocker.
I think Mr. Wood needs mental help. I am not sure if he lives with any family. He posts pictures of three dogs he recently rescued but no wife or children.
He makes his living (millions BTW) as a libel and defamation lawyer.
He has all the legitimacy he needs.
If anything, his work on the election is costing him. In fact, his work up to this point has been on his dime.
As an aside, I'm not saying he hasn't gone off the deep end. I'm just saying there are other possible explanations for his behavior.

Some of us here don’t understand how shallow, superficial and egotistical most lawyers are.
I agree that he gets too far ahead of proof. Which is why he should shut up till he shares that proof. Nothing is gained by jumping the gun with unsubstantiated assertions, and accusing the Vice President of a capital offense only alienates people from the President’s own cause because Lin Wood, like Sidney Powell, is closely linked to the White House by most supporters regardless of his official relationship.

I think Lin is bread crumbing real information - but in a bit of a sensational way. His posts thus far have turned out to be true. Meadows and Pence may be goIng along with the steal behind the scenes rather than fighting for the people and the rule of law.
