President Trump's policies have had zero impact on California where they've largely been ignored. Don't try to pin this on Trump.
i am just observing that several of my california gringo friends, former work colleagues and acquaintances have chosen to retire to Mexico, either part time or full time. apparently the lack of ability to own land is offset by the nice climate and the relatively high standard of living that one can achieve there on a relatively modest retirement income. at times, i am tempted myself.
If immigrants are spreading Covid, then this is a good thing. Let them go spread it in Mexico.
