Congressman-elect Luke Letlow suffered a heart attack following operation

Louisiana Rep.-elect Luke Letlow, who died while battling COVID-19, suffered a heart attack following a procedure, a hospital official said.

The 41-year-old was receiving treatment in the intensive care unit at Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport when he died Tuesday, the Monroe News-Star reported.

LSU Health Shreveport Chancellor G.E. Ghali confirmed Letlow underwent an operation related to the virus and later went into cardiac arrest.

No... I didn’t mean no one is afraid of ‘influenza’ as in-quotes.

But you do seem to understand my point, which is:

Why is it that influenza has its own mortality/infection stats and virulence behavior... that if framed/exaggerated and propagandized by the socialist/MSM Alinsky-ites into a fear-mongering invented crisis, it too could have been used to psychological manipulate people into the belief that it is the deadliest virus ever to infect humanity.

Indeed, that is exactly what the Marxist left has done with COVID. Created a crisis, an illusion of fear by cooking statistics and waving fear-mongering and unproven medical opinions all over media that COVID is the most deadliest pathogen since the black plague!

You now can see clearly what I meant when I said... “Why isn’t anyone afraid of influenza?”

Because it’s not what the Marxists needed to run with in 2009. After all... they have installed their illegitimate guy ‘Barry’ as president and their agenda was moving along nicely. The agenda to take America down and the overthrow of its constitution...

Now contrast COVID propaganda today with what the Marxist/MSM did NOT do in 2009 when H1N1 (SARS) broke out because their messiah King Barry Hussein was president...

In 2009 the H1N1 influenza virus killed more than the COVID virus before it was declared a pandemic. Did the mainstream media and Dems cluck and scream the sky is falling, ridicule and criticize then president Barry Hussein?... and attempt to blame him for not doing enough and acting in slow response??!!... Did the US and EU shut down countries and business, international flights, ports of entry and impose quarantine, lock-downs and marshal law? NO! And why not??? Because their guy Barry was president!... and they didn’t want to tarnish their messiahs armor. Obams response of course was brilliant, perfect and no fear-mongering or panic-hustling was EVER done by the MSM.

Amazing is the difference in how the Marxists MSM suppressed the use of fear-propaganda in 2009 with how they spread fear, death and an unprecedented global pandemic by hyping falsehoods, ginned-up science and encouraging legions of Karen’s to push a fake COVID crisis today in order to manufacture a crisis for the purpose of bringing the US and worlds economies to its knees (of course the draconian dictates are only in Democrat run states/cities)

But WHY the difference between H1N1(SARS) Swine-Flu 2009 response and today’s COVID pandemic?? Because TRUMP wasn’t supposed to win the presidency... that’s why! Now the Marxists needed a crisis to run with! An all-out fear-mongering impetus, a coordinated scheme in psychological warfare that would wreck Trump, the economy and take Trump out in 2020! Yes, indeed. Write the script, get China to release the modified virus antagonist ... then create a narrative, cook the books, release ONLY images/video that hype the narrative that people are spontaneously dropping dead, hospitals are overrun with infected patients and the virus is marching over the globe leaving human carnage, death and destruction in is wake! But who do you blame for allowing this to happen... TRUMP! It’s all TRUMPS fault! Trump single handily killed over 300k in the US and millions more across the world!

All these deaths could have been prevented if we ONLY had the right (Marxist) guy in the White House! Orange Man Bad! Oh, the HUMANITY!

Seal society off form HIV, Hepatitis A, B, C... how about SARS, H1N1, influenza the cold virus and pneumonia... risk to any pathogen must be ZERO!

I can see where the communists are going with this... government must possess the power to regulate anything and everything it deems a health risk. And that means guns, social behavior and personal decisions... EVERYTHING! Epidemics of rarely fatal childhood diseases are still sometimes declared. You’ve not noticed? Really?

CORRECTLY, colds (as a group) ARE at least in cold season a pandemic, even if no one was to die from them. The real question is why does the MSM not use the word consistently & properly.

The answer is that the public is “used” to colds and so not easily manipulated with them. In that we are at least in partial agreement.

However, your “we” does not include ME because I actually know the definition. Your “we” may be 300 million in the US alone — no matter, they are still ignorant in this instance and incorrect, mostly victims of our education system. Whether you stay with them or not is your choice.

I do not think an existing common flu strain could be used in this manner to this degree. People are too familiar with it / it is a “known quantity”. Something new and nasty — maybe.

However, COVID-19 has two things going for it, as a tool to be used. 1) It’s new to the US (at least as a pathogen affecting a significant number of people), and it is just closely related enough to some real doozies like MERS to be “scary”.

Moreover (2), COVID-19 is much more contagious than most flus. Moderate “dumb” mitigation that would stomp most flu’s seems to have limited effect on COVID-19. That can be used to scare some people... ...not because people believe COVID is a particularly dangerous pathogen to most individuals (contrary to your assertions, I know NO such person), but because no one, not even one Pubbie Governor is out there pushing moderate smart mitigation and education that would tamp down the chances of Granny getting COVID without destroying the economy and our freedoms.
