The businesses usually put up such a sign because of city or county orders. I know from my conversations at the checkout counters that the checkers and baggers hate having to wear masks all day, regard it as useless, and drop them under their noses if they feel nobody’s looking. Same with the customers.
In other words, everybody is sick of this farce. But they’re scared of “the authorities,” and this won’t stop until the authorities are scared of us. Or at least get tired of being called out for such nonsense.
Anybody who wants to wear a mask is more than welcome to do so. But in the meantime, let the rest of us go back to breathing and speaking (and smiling) normally.
Oh Really?
Well, it is a mandate from the givernment not something the store willingly put up.
In fact, you have to place the signs in the exact and conspicuous places on and near every single entrance.
They must be the one’s the givernment mandates as well, which means you have to purchase them from their vendwhores.
They must be the correct size and a variety of other factors.
In the outlet mall in Gilroy, California the givernment came through and fined 48 out of 151 businesses in one afternoon before moving on the Salinas and pulling the same thing.
You mandated by the givernment to be their agents so no, this isn’t some business pulling this
This is tyranny and if you disagree then our mileage definitely varies.
Upon checking out, the clerk (who was masked), coughed into her open bare hand, then grabbed my wine bottle with the same hand to scan it. Come on, man, I'm not a Karen, but aren't people yet aware that they should not cough into their bare hands?
Fortunately, there was an open package of wipes at each checkstand, enabling me to wipe off the bottle before self-bagging it.
The real heroes are like this girl going out unmasked. Remember a day without a Mexican? Lets do a day without a mask with all 70 million Trump voters going unmasked at the same time.
