Los Angeles police responded after a mass of maskless demonstrators forced their way into an Erewhon Market in the Fairfax district Tuesday afternoon in protest of coronavirus restrictions.
“We’re not here coughing everything, smearing everything,” Jason Traver said. “We just want to shop, we want to take our own precautions that we’ve been doing all of our lives, and we’ll be fine.”
Officers stayed on scene to monitor the situation and ensure it didn’t escalate, but police said no arrests were made.
After leaving Erewhon, some protesters walked to a nearby Trader Joe’s and claimed medical reasons for being maskless. There, they were told to get in a separate line before they were let in to shop

Would the police have responded had large numbers of people entered the store and shoplifted?

Or rioting on the street and burning down buildings and killing people?
Answer: No
To: Vendome
Interesting. A similar incident happened here in San Antonio at North Start Mall a day or two ago. They arrested the organizer.

So, a privately-owned business puts up a sign that says something like "you must be wearing a face-covering to enter" and a whole lot of people on FreeRepublic are siding with idiots who willfully ignore a posted rule. This site amazes me sometimes.
I wonder what would happen if you put up a "No Trespassing" sign on your property and the group called "protestors against private property" just walked on your lawn and hung out. My guess is you'd have a REAL different opinion.

Grocery stores should be EXEMPT from all mandates...people NEED food to live. If a business was selling toys or scented candles; I would agree. I believe masks SPREAD the virus...change my mind.

But if a private business was burned down depending on the group, the police wouldn’t respond. Yes, it’s sad things have gotten to that point

We need to be organizing maskless flash mobs. I’m convinced most people don’t want masks, and it’d be easier to throw off the shackles in a group than by oneself.

Grocery stores should be EXEMPT from all mandatesThat's your opinion, and business owners do not need to conduct their business according to your opinion.
people NEED food to live.
This is a fact, but you do not have a "right" to go to a grocery store to obtain food.
I believe masks SPREAD the virus...change my mind.
Again, this is an opinion that you hold, and I have neither the desire nor the inclination to convince you otherwise.

We need to be organizing maskless flash mobs. Have masks on at the beginning and then throw them to the ground! In other words, a big F.U.!
