Was that an old wing, that had been closed down?
Was there staff to run it if it opened?
Were there health and safety issues concerned with that
wing, that causes their shut-down?
There may or may not be more going on here that meets the
eye. I’d like to hear more.

However, public data shows that hospitals are indeed emptier than at this time last year, with beds being at 89% occupancy compared to 95% occupancy in December 2019.
Sort of like looking at the death numbers and seeing there has been no spike.
