Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump Unless Republicans have a death wish, and it is also the right thing to do, they must approve the $2000 payments ASAP. $600 IS NOT ENOUGH! Also, get rid of Section 230 - Don’t let Big Tech steal our Country, and don’t let the Democrats steal the Presidential Election. Get tough! Quote Tweet

Fine, but up the family income to 250k, 150k is no longer a reasonable cutoff for middle class in 2020.

Nope. He shouldn’t have signed the last “stimulus.” There’s no reason to compound the error by increasing the giveaway.

More welfare! More welfare!

If Trump was gonna die on this hill, he should have done it before the election. Might have bought him enough votes to win.

Would greatly prefer that the every $2,000 check be matched by an equal $2,000 reduction in the other spending provisions. Particularly the money to foreign countries.

Trump is President.

If he is not inaugurated, he still is because fraudulent elections do not confer legitimacy to fake winners.

If he were to not be inaugurated GOP must go down.

I often can’t understand GOP thinking.

Republican stupidly often cling to conservative “fiscal responsibility” on principle when its a populist issue, but when it comes to promoting, maintaining and spending on the vast, permanent edifice of the deep state and its power, responsibility goes right out the window.

I can’t replace a roof with $2000.

Make it $8000.

McConnell is pond scum. It’s just that simple. If he was sending $2,000 a week to every employee of Lockheed Martin, Mitch would approve it on a voice vote, and then go get a steak dinner (and not pay). But for We the People? “WE CAN’T AFFORD IT...THE DEFICIT!!!!”

Morons still haven’t figured out many Republicans have been bribed and blackmailed for years too just like the dems. They don’t want Trump stopping their gravy train.

$2000 isn’t enough. They need to stop giving our tax dollars to other nations and spend the entire $900 billion on US citizens.

Better yet, forget about this stupid Scamdemic and let the country get back to work.

I am not sure why the President should care at all about what happens to the feckless Party that thwarted him from behind the scenes until recently. Now they don’t care who knows.

Some of us have known it all along.

where was the white house when this thing was being negotiated? mnuchin was intimately involved in these discussions from the beginning. why is this being torpedoed now — a week before the GA runoff with senate control hanging in the balance?
