Congress has Constitutional authority to declare war, but the President has authority to move troops.
I previously voted against the NDAA bill and tonight I voted to support @realDonaldTrump’s veto.

Trump is being pushed out and the party is reverting to its old ways, and moving on.
2021 is looking like the year that China takes Taiwan and the US gets back into the endless war business — not in Taiwan, of course (we’ll just let that one happen) — but I can see us watching our troops die in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, you name it.

The republican party is done if Trump does not get put in for a second term considering all the fraud. The millions of Trumpers out there will be the party and the republican party will be zip.... Romany and the ghost of McCain. The RINO party.

Yeah, well I left the GOP when they foisted McCain on us and only came back for Trump. I voted straight (R) to help him...and we now see what that brought us.
Trump will leave politics completely if he does not manage to take the oath on January 20th. I don't blame him. He'll probably buy a media company (preferably CNN - they already have the international reach) and hire away people like Hannity, Carlson, and Gutfeld from Fox.
When perhaps millions of the 74 million who voted for Trump, as I did, leave the republican party, who do the RINOs in Congress think are going to vote for them?

The Philadelphia Convention unanimously rejected a proposal to grant Congress the power to “make ... peace.” The President is absolutely within his power to end the prosecution of a war without Congress’s consent.
They can have a war, but they can’t order troops to go there; only POTUS can do that.
