Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) lauded President Donald Trump for moving to sign the $2.3 trillion coronavirus relief and government spending bill, but made no mention of the president’s demands, such as raising direct payments to $2,000.
“I applaud President Trump’s decision to get hundreds of billions of dollars of crucial COVID-19 [Chinese coronavirus] relief out the door and into the hands of American families as quickly as possible,” McConnell said in a statement:

If the House Passes the $2000 Checks today, Mc Connell will have to bring it to the Senate Floor if for no other reason than to give the GA Senate Republican candidates cover to vote for it. If he refuses to bring it to a vote, he may be history.

If the House passes this today, it would be political suicide for the Senate not to take it up and vote on it. You can bet that Schumer will be demanding it and if McConnell resists the Republicans will look like the New Year Grinch and Trump will be throwing rocks at them along with the Democrats.
More importantly, Trump seems to have folded on using his presidential powers to assure the integrity of this election (and his next four years).
I am listening to Corsi now arguing that the “MAGA Party” will lead the comeback with Trump leading it.
Not gonna happen: A) Another four years with Dems/Deep State/CCP in charge and there won’t be more legit elections. B) If Trump’s gonna turtle rather than follow through on the oath that he took in becoming president and not use the powers he has while he has them, he’s not gonna be a leader of anything after this.
Who gets that the “stimulus” concept is a failed Keynesian/Socialist concept that in the long run does more harm than good?
Never has worked in the past and never will work. As opposed to the Free Market Economy, this socialist stimulus nonsense defies the laws of economics. (You know if the Left is for it something MUST be wrong with it.)

McConnell is as dirty as they come. He is married to a CCP connected wife, for crying out loud. Don’t tell me she doesn’t hand off goodies to her relatives in China, at our expense.
The GOP establishment has really shown its true colors, both over the last 4 years, but most especially since the election.
It’s time for us to take over the Republican Party and vote these worthless pieces of trash out of office. It’s going to be uphill, with the big donors looking to maintain the status quo.
Congress won, Trump lost. The chance of the requested corrections and increases passes, is zero. I very seriously doubt it will happen. Congress won’t let Trump have a win, he rolled and has absolutely no leverage.
