The Center for Disease Control (CDC) on Thursday issued a new guidance requiring travelers flying from the United Kingdom to the United States to provide a negative Wuhan coronavirus test. The new requirement is set to go into effect on Monday.
According to the Associated Press, airline passengers must provide a negative COVID-19 test within three days of their trip. The results have to be provided directly to the airline.
"Airlines must confirm the negative test result for all passengers before they board," the CDC said in a statement. "If a passenger chooses not to take a test, the airline must deny boarding to the passenger."
President Donald Trump signed the order into law on Christmas Day after news of a new strain of the coronavirus came to light. The CDC says the strain is 70 percent more contagious. U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams, however, reassured Americans that the new strain isn't any more deadly than the strain that's currently in the United States. Dr. Anthony Fauci has also said it is highly probable that this new strain is already in the U.S. Despite that, the surgeon general said the federal government is "layering protection on top of protection on top of protection."

The United States' restrictions on UK travelers are considered less stringent than the other 50 nations who have imposed a travel ban. The CDC said travel from the UK has gone down 90 percent since March because of current travel restrictions.

The strain is already in Canada. From the WaPo:

In Canada, Ontario’s chief medical officer announced Saturday that they had confirmed two cases, the first detection of the variant in North America. The patient, a couple, had no known travel history, meaning it was probably a case of community spread.”

My 76-year old neighbor got it in April, took HCQ, Quercetin and Zinc and felt better in 8-9 days. Her cousin in Brooklyn died from it...was 79 with diabetes and congestive heart failure.

This ‘strain’ which is essentially the same virus, has been around since September and has spread worldwide.
Now that they know how to detect it, it’s appearing in pretty much every country in the world and it was likely around long before it was detected in September in Great Briton. Banning travelers from there would have been sensible four months ago. Banning them now will likely have no consequence.
The scientist they have relied on for information during this nonsense should be lined up and executed after this foolishness is over. Their advice has likely cost hundreds of thousands of lives and even more misery for those who have lost their jobs and livelihoods based on their asinine recommendations.
The good news, or bad news if you prefer... Unlike the Spanish flu that resulted in about 3% of the worlds population being eliminated, a number that would amount to 234,000,000 million deaths... We have only lost 1,769,021 million worldwide.

This is Biden I’m talking about. You expect something rational, sensible out of his mouth?
Never take the test. A test won’t save you or cure you. After decades in the lab i know. Once a diagnosis goes into your medical record, it can be used against you. Treat the sypmtoms and reject the notion you need a test to live. A yest for a virus wont save you, ever.
