BEIRUT: Israeli jets flew very low over parts of Lebanon early Friday, terrifying residents on Christmas Eve, some of whom reported seeing missiles in the skies over Beirut.
Minutes later, Syria’s official news agency reported explosions in the central Syrian town of Masyaf. Other Syrian media said Syrian air defenses responded to an Israeli attack near the town in the Hama province. The Syrian Ministry of Defense issued a statement saying Israel “launched an aggression by directing a barrage of rockets” from the north of the Lebanese city of Tripoli toward the Masyaf area. It said Syrian air defense “confronted the enemy missiles and intercepted most of them.”
There was no immediate word on what the target was or whether there were any casualties.

I fear you are correct.
not sure what the targets were this time but in the larger picture, Lebanon was sold out by the Christian West and now, alas, a terrorist murder gang calls many or most of the shots there. An obvious peace partner for Jerusalem, Beirut needs to be rid of Hezballah and all the rest of the dangerous Muslim element. How? Not sure they can do it themselves as they are up against constant funding and arming of the terrorist gangs from Iran and elsewhere.
(I do believe it will be achieved someday however...)

You’re conflating things. Obama also told Israel to shove it when they raised concerns regarding the Iran sellout. That’s what I’m referring to. Israel would have been forced to take out Iran on their own had Trump not won, with whatever weapons they needed to use, regardless of the price (and who knows now what will happen...now that Iran gets to restart its nuke development).
As far as the aid goes, Obama didn’t care either way...but dumping a few billion kept The Jews from raising a stink (and possibly pulling some of their money), so giving Israel our hard-earned money was a no-brainer for him.
In reality, the Russians have “officially” moved S-400’s into the western, and central western Syrian theater.
However, from at least a few joint Russian/Syrian positions, they have been largely jamming radar (including for commercial flights), into Two Aviv and Oman for over a year and a half. Commercial carriers and airline pilots from around the world have been complaining about having to fly by “wire/horizon” for most of this time.
More recently, there are new large completed/and nearly completed, RUS/Syrian SIGINT/ELINT ufac’s which are both gathering and interrupting a broad range of frequency across Israel. A half dozen of these can reach halfway across the Sanai.
The next war on Israel will be major, and it will be a 360 degree war.

Shortly after Trump was in office, (when he was having the state dinner at Mar-a-Logo, two dozen of the sites we hit in central, and central Eastern Syria were *surfice/service entrances to deep ufac’s collectively housing the equivalent of about 120 thousand *drums of segregated, mixed, chem’s which had been exfill from three primary deep ufac sites in central Iraq, and predominantly from Al Muthana (northwest of Baghdad, and mostly west of Ballad/JBB.
Trump’s cruise missile hit in Syria was a set back, but much of the surface damage has since been rebuilt.
Also, keep in mind, Israel did lose an F-16 to a RUS manned S-300 a while back, as it was approaching Israeli airspace.
Israel doesn’t do unprovoked activities.

3rd or 4th Christmas Eve in a row. The timing of this every year makes me think it a screw you to Syrian Christians by Israel.
