I thought they said police received a call to report a suspicious device - but you are probably correct it was vehicle.
Anyway, they lured the police to the RV and then it exploded. No one on the streets at that hour, so this is intentional luring of police.
A resident reported hearing “gunfure” maybe a gun battle - but I bet it was detonation caps? which sound like pop-poppop-pop-poppoppop-pop similar to handguns but it’s not.
Reporting 3 injured, not life threatening.
I think they said there will be a press conf. top of the hour.

I always think of diesel as different from kerosene. Just a matter of terminology, perhaps, since the lengths of carbon chains overlap between the two.
Hmmm.. right in front of a major telecom hub for the entire region. Well, they will need a lot more than a Bomb in an RV to take that building out which was built to former, Bell System standards.

Interesting side note? This bomb was set off directly in front of a Sbarro restaurant. Just like the Sbarro in Jerusalem years ago.

Police are using bomb-sniffing dogs to check other vehicles in the general area.
WKRN is reporting that gunfire ‘may’ have occured just before the explosion.
Unknown whether there was anyone in the RV at the time of the explosion.
No indications of a potential second device.
LEO Central reports that this was an intentional bombing incident and not an accident.
There is no wreckage of an RV there.
There would be a bunch of wheels and a large engine .. even if the rest was blown to literal dust.
