Go to the store. A problem created by insisting the store be brought to you.

Any judge that allows this idiotic case to go forward should be removed from the bench.

Wonder when the defense during discovery asks for the rest of the video where it shows her falling down.
Then they got a case, if they only show the delivery, but not the accident the smell of shakedown will start to permiate the courtroom.

I’m actually rooting for her in this case.
I’ve been saying for a long time that anyone who thinks Amazon will destroy traditional retail stores should consider what a “race to the bottom” looks like in online shopping.

"After tripping over the box, Hoven fell and hit her head, the lawsuit states. She suffered a concussion, leading to “concentration and memory problems” and “constant head pain.” She also injured an elbow and a hand and now suffers from increased fear, according to the complaint."A Merry Christmas to all those ambulance chasers out there!

These people are why we are in this mess. First the doctor who died because of mistreatment now this story of a person falling. May she break a leg every 6 months till she learns some gratitude.

So she wants it left in a more ‘conspicuous’ location, easier for the porch pirates to find it.?

I almost got in an accident because an idiot Amazon delivery driver had parked the van illegally in a traffic lane. An idiot in an oncoming vehicle swerved around the van into my lane. At least I had the sense to stand on my brakes to avoid both idiots.
I could have sued both Amazon and the other driver.

Surely those evasive manuvers caused your scalding cup of McDonalds coffee to spill on to your lap and wedding tackle...so don’t forget to include them in your civil suit. Big $$$

I’m actually rooting for her in this case. I do hate when they don't knock. I never use my front door because I go through the garage. A package could sit there for weeks before I notice it.

" leaving a package on a porch without knocking on the home’s door or ringing the bell"
Why is this common practice???
To: MV=PY
The alleged “injuries” in some of these cases are comical, but having become very familiar with legal processes in both a professional and a personal capacity I understand how this works.
Basically, she has to claim all these vague, nebulous injuries because the law in her state probably prevents her from doing what SHOULD be done in a case like this — namely, suing for punitive damages so that Amazon doesn’t do this crap anymore.

If you sued, it would have been an “idiotic” lawsuit!

I darned near tripped on a package UPS left on my steps.

I find it irritating that they don’t knock or ring the bell anymore. How much time does that take?

she has a point. leaving a box directly under a door is asking for someone to step on it and get hurt
leave it to the side, or away from the door
