Both the GOPee State legislatures [maybe AZ excepted] and the US Congressional GOPeerRat Critters are not interesting in investigating and cleaning up the work of the fraudsters.
As usual, the work flows to the competent, Trump being about the only competent one in DC.

Ultimately, the AG takes marching orders from the President. If Barr won’t appoint a Special Counsel, then Trump needs to find someone who will. With all the GOP lawyers Trump could possibly bring in as AG, I find it incredible if there’s not a single one who’s willing to appoint a Special Counsel.
Except the Trump’s own DOJ and the courts have all said there has been no widespread voter fraud and when Trump’s own lawyers go to court a lot of them don’t even argue voter fraud.
Just do it already.

The establishment Republicans fear Sydney and Lin. I would bet that 2/3 of the republicans in the senate are guilty of corruption in some way and perceptive these two as a threat to their continued existence.
These republicans also are happy that Trump could be gone, and cant wait to do more deals with the Democrats.

‘Poison Pill !’
That’s right. Any special counsels set up now is going to picked up by the media as just a ‘poison pill’ designed to just put a monkey wrench (2nd buzz word for 2021). They will give Biden et al carte balance permission to fire any special counsel with impunity and without political damage.
“This special counsel is just a ‘poison pill’ from that horrid orange man, Biden should just fire him (them) so he can get on with leading on the important issues pressing our country”
I see the future
I am personally excited that something is being done. I just hope whoever he appoints is like a can opener on two legs.
