We waited and watched and did NOTHING as our freedoms were taken one by one by one by one.

All the heartland tough guys watched the flags and then the statues tumble down without leaving their couches and grabbing their guns on the way out the door.

Liberal cities burned and as expected, liberal leaders did nothing.

We all surrendered a little bit each time we let our speech be curtailed, a statue fall, an insane transgender or gay marriage bill pass, our children be taught INSANE things...

...so before pointing at the surrender artists..we all need to take a good look in the mirror...

because all I still see is a bunch of typists...including myself...still hesitant to respond in the way that we should have all along.

We still want Trump and some members of congress to hold our hands and do the heavy lifting when we KNOW IN OUR HEARTWS that it will not be the answer to changing what we have let America become...

That real answer is scary...and will involve bravery on a level not many have...I don’t know if I have it.

But we may likely all soon find out.

“We waited and watched and did NOTHING as our freedoms were taken one by one by one by one.”
Indeed. We, Conservatives last rose up years ago. The Tea Party was a Grass Roots uprising all across the country. We organized and rose up. I was one. As was my wife, who is a naturalized American interviewed by an incredulous local media.
We have reached out to many of our former Tea Party associates from those rallies years ago and have received precious few responses from them.
It seems they are tired. They have given up. We tell them that’s why the Left will eventually win. They NEVER grow tired or ever give up. We have received near Crickets in response. Too many “Conservatives” lack the stamina for this fight.
Many of the responses we received is, what can we possibly do? We do not even have the support of our elected Republicans! We are just average people with no power or influence!
They fail to realize that the struggle never ends and that they have to stay engaged. They want no part of this. They just want to be left alone and are dejected and have decided to simply withdraw. These are people who were back then very enthusiastic Tea Party types.
I believe they are dejected not by the Dems but, by the RINO’s and the Republican Party.
