Indeed. We, Conservatives last rose up years ago. The Tea Party was a Grass Roots uprising all across the country. We organized and rose up. I was one. As was my wife, who is a naturalized American interviewed by an incredulous local media.
We have reached out to many of our former Tea Party associates from those rallies years ago and have received precious few responses from them.
It seems they are tired. They have given up. We tell them that’s why the Left will eventually win. They NEVER grow tired or ever give up. We have received near Crickets in response. Too many “Conservatives” lack the stamina for this fight.
Many of the responses we received is, what can we possibly do? We do not even have the support of our elected Republicans! We are just average people with no power or influence!
They fail to realize that the struggle never ends and that they have to stay engaged. They want no part of this. They just want to be left alone and are dejected and have decided to simply withdraw. These are people who were back then very enthusiastic Tea Party types.
I believe they are dejected not by the Dems but, by the RINO’s and the Republican Party.
The Republican party saw the Tea Party as a threat and where they could they co-opted and where they couldn’t they crushed.
In Dave Brat’s case they teamed up with the Democrats to put a CIA drone in to punish him for taking out Eric Cantor.
Got the Mechanicsville and Patrick Henry tea party redistricted out of his district to make it easier or at least more believable, now that we know we are having Venezuelan elections.
