President-elect Joe Biden on Tuesday said he would slowly reform US immigration policies to avoid triggering a rush of “2 million people on our border.”
Biden confirmed reports that his team is nervous amid an already increasing number of immigrants, including children and families, being detained at the border since his election victory last month.
“I’ve already started discussing these issues with the president of Mexico and our friends in Latin America and the timeline is to do it so that we in fact make it better, not worse,” Biden said at a press conference in Wilmington, Del, when asked about the rollout of his new immigration policies.

The only reason slow changes would make any difference is that they’d be spread over a period of time and you would not notice as easily.
Slow Joe knows what anger resulted from other runs for the border. People in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas will be really mad when the whole invasion starts all over again.

“Two million people on our border” - isn’t this what the New Wave plutocrats that leveraged Joe Biden into the White House were wanting all the time? Perpetual chaos and constant crisis make a grand recipe for consolidation of command-and-control politics to win out.
Joe Biden won’t be President for long even if he does take the oath of office. Kamala dearest will have him sidelined for good within sixty days.
Trump failed to deport even a fraction of the 30-60 million, so no surprise to see Biden embrace the opposite. Easier to invite in or let stay in than to kick out.
