Is Our Government Totally Broken? COVID 'Relief' Bill Strongly Suggests Yes. Yes, It Is Broken.
PJ Media ^ | 21 Dec 2020 | Bryan Preston

Congress is likely to pass the big COVID “relief” bill like the world’s second-largest kidney stone. My colleague Victoria Taft already highlighted some of the most egregious spending included in the bill, such as the horseracing regulations and the new cars for HIV/AIDS workers overseas. That one’s worth more than $193 million, begging the question of just how many restaurants, movie theaters, and other small businesses in these United States might have been helped with that money.

A lot, I’d venture. Enjoy your $600, America. Don’t spend it all in one place!

In addition to the $10 million for gender programs in Pakistan and the lavish spending on receptions that Victoria noted, there’s more.

The bill is packed with…salmon?

Yes, it is totally broken. It is why I said about four years ago that electing Trump just put off the inevitable. How many people have posted, over the last decade, that our forefathers would have been shooting by now?

But we live in a different time and a different world.

The congresslosers are pathetically compromised through their (and their friends and extended family)”interests”. This is how these bums get rich...very rich while average Citizens continue to be played for chumps. Enjoy the continuing suck.

Yes, blood boiling level with this.

State leaders destroy businesses and lives, then give taxpayer money away to others.

This alone is worth marching on DC and tossing them out for a good ass kicking.

President Trump please Don’t sign this.
Nothing but more government waste...
It’s past due that pork should be left out of every bill.

Free ! Free! Free just means let the kids pay for it
Where’s the commercial or video showing a toddler happily playing suddenly being demanded to pay its thousands of dollars share of the national debt ? When the toddler breaks into screaming” HOW COULD THEY DO THIS TO ME ???” in tears ? posted this in my website
http://www.theusmat.com/index.htm

If this fraudulent election wasn’t going on Trump should vetoed this. NOW I HOPE HE EXPLAINS AND BLAMES THAT SHAKEDOWN FORCING ITS PASSAGE.

That democrat controlled house 5000 or more page budget blaster hasn’t been examined but I bet there is Bailouts for sanctuary states and cities along with a mountain of other appropriations going for give-a-way projects

What a waste, $600 is ridiculous. How about we immediately give the vaccine to people over 65 and let everyone else get back to work - that’s a stimulus.

When it comes to spending it is.

Trump could not get a single bill through without another trillion for the democrats AND republicrats.

DC is addicted to pork.

It would be much cheaper for “we the people” if we simply paid for campaigns and paid each congress critter a million bucks a year and cut off all other money. They pay for their own travel (not office expenses). Take it or leave it.

I am a student of history, but never before in Western civilization can a small investment of a few thousand dollars yield millions. That is the truth.

"The congresslosers are pathetically compromised..."

Some people think voter fraud doesn't exist. Well, all they have to do is look at the fraud committed by our elected officials every day in Congress to know that it happens at the ballot box every year too.

Voters have a share of responsibility. For all the big talk about having had enough they’ll grab their pitchforks and vote for incumbents in droves, as always.

I am donating my $600 to a person who runs against Senator Tim Scott in his next primary. If he wins the primary I will vote for someone else. Republicans lie

Most things that the elected officials in DC do or say publicly has the purpose of diversion away from their own criminality. Is DC broken? No, it’s working just fine for them but it is more than just broken for the working class. It’s like our two teared justice system; one applies to them where nobody is held accountable and the other applies to the servant class where they can and do prosecute citizens on unconstitutional laws that only apply to the lowly US citizens.

Yea, pretty painful to think our voting process can never be trusted again. Painfully obvious there are two systems of justice in this country.

Obvious the rule of law is a hoax. Our 1st amendment was just stolen by super powerful oligarchs and deep state. Obvious as hell D.C. is corrupt beyond repair.

Corruption permeates both houses of congress, SCOTUS, White House, DOJ, FBI, IRS...you name it.

Just a handful of honest Joe's...hugely outnumbered.

Never in my life have I felt such tyranny as I did these last four years. Un-freakin-believable what the swamp did to DJT and those around him. Totally set up an innocent man. Impeached him, hamstrung his administration/pro-American agenda.

All the while, these crooked SOB's were hobnobbing with communist spies...selling out our country to the highest bidder. Eff’n shameful!

IF they were going to provide money, the bill could have been one sentence: “A bill to provide all registered voters $600 in stimulus money.”
