Tuesday, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich sounded off on the prospect of President Donald Trump attending President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration after contesting the 2020 presidential election results over allegations of voter fraud.
Gingrich told Hugh Hewitt, host of “The Hugh Hewitt Show,” that Trump needs to figure out which option between attending the inauguration or skipping it is better for his message. However, Gingrich said the outgoing president should “probably” end up going because it is the routine.

I disagreed. I'm sorry if I did not make the point more clearly that every President needs advice.
That it may not be asked for is another thing.
So every President needs advice...if they feel the need to ask for it. I say President Trump at this point, only needs advice from those he trusts, which at this point is only God. I trust President Trump, and I trust God. The rest of them are all fickle, fair-weather friends. He’s been stabbed in the back by “advisors” the past 4+ years.
Covid, doncha know, will keep from having an inauguration from the Capitol balcony on the mall. Having Biden speak from a small venue will allow the media to pretend that millions of people would have come to support him except for Covid.
Agreed on this. Really disheartening that he has not had more advisers that he could rely on for candid advice and which don't go behind his back.
It is not stolen until Biden is sworn in. That is when the “calculus” changes dramatically, if it happens.
Oh yes, he should have done SO MUCH more.

The Chinese people are very ticked at their government, a bad place for the ChiComs to be with Trump still around). The tariffs hurt. Badly. Even if the ChiComs were not so bloody duplicitous anyway, saving face would keep them quiet. There was talk awhile ago about having to backstop the yuan. I do not know if that happened.
The Chinese people refer to our President as Donald the Strong. BO couldn’t get a set of stairs. I suspect that when they hear “Biden”, they just laugh. I know I would.
Then there is the shredded wheat President Trump has made out of Vlad the Impaler’s economy. Our gaining energy independence was a dark, dark time in the Kremlin. Suddenly, Europe had the option of dealing with *us* instead of the KGB (he will never *not* be KGB). It would not happen overnight but, Eastern Europe was pretty damn happy.
Anyone had to hassle with OPEC lately?
Back to Tell-Vlad-I’ll-Have-More-Flexibility-After-the-Election, President Trump sold a shiny new *fleet* of F35s to Poland to help ensure that Putin minds his manners in E Europe. Poland has pledged to protect her neighbors, including those not yet NATO, ie Georgia. (They can’t be admitted while there is a land dispute).

One of my personal favorites is the Right to Try. I cried when President Trump signed that. It was a singular act of compassion for which I will always be grateful.
In case you forgot, BO and Biden dismantled our military after hog-tying our soldiers in combat. Our troops *literally* had to get an attorney on the line for an opinion as to whether they were on solid legal ground shooting back at the enemy that was trying to obliterate them.
Remember BO’s proposed “Courageous Restraint” medal? Just in case there was any troop morale remaining.
May I also remind you that the President about whom who so many shrieked would start a “nuclear war” 15 minutes after his inauguration, has yet to drag us into a single stupid war?
Just cleaning up BO/Biden’s messes should have taken at least 15 years.
President Trump did a shrewd end run right around Congress to the Pentagon for Wall funding, correctly identifying the invasion as a national security matter. The Wall, despite nonstop interference, is nearly complete. Biden will rip it right back down.
FYI, OAN keeps a running ticker on the cost of illegal aliens. It’s quite astonishing the first time you see it.

Present Trump was able to get two floating Navy hospital ships in both place with light speed. Of course, combined, something like 77 actual patients were seen.
Perhaps you don’t remember that President Trump managed to get these things done with 24/7/365 incoming fired at him from every single direction. A strong willed man of 35 would have collapsed during Year One.
He was attacked relentlessly with everything but the truth. His family was savaged mercilessly. He was impeached over a phone call while watching our fully weaponized intel agencies conspire to overthrow him. And, later, he was treated to the joy of observing the seditionists gleefully escape the slightest of consequences. Cardinal Comey is enjoying a comfy retirement as a multimillionaire.

Many have denigrated and cast aspersions on Newt for decades, and I admit I couldn’t see it. I thought they were too harsh by half. But this one incident has illuminated Newt and all his warts, so that even I can see what they’ve been seeing. Newt is apparently so dense, or so blind, or so obtuse that he can’t comprehend that our Nation is being stolen, and Trump CAN’T concede. Trump must fight tooth and nail, and save our Republic. And Newt should go crawl in a hole somewhere.
Trump should move out and leave town on January 19. No nice nice with cheaters—No gifts, no letters, Maybe a note—”See you in 2024 if your still president.” Trump needs to hold a very private meeting with the people who really supported him and plan the next move. He is the Head of the GOP not the Turtle, Mittens, or the RINOS. No leaks, no comments to the lying Press. Next move take out the Press and set up (Expand) Right wing Media. Move on Hollywood and set up studios in Florida and make GOOD Movies for Americans—Not Chinese or 3rd Worlders (heck Bollywood can have that market). Lead a new Tea Party movement to keep the Democrats off balance—This time with Sons of Liberty—armed and ready to fight for Freedom. Then a move to expand the Trump Empire—New Hotel in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and in North Korea. Be positive as a counter to the Negativity of the Democrats. Sourpusses to not wear well with the public.
