Paul Slams Republicans Voting For COVID Bill: ‘You Are No Better Than Socialist Dems’
Summit News ^ | 12/22/2020 | Steve Watson

The Democrat controlled House, as well as the Senate passed the legislation, also tacking on a $1.4 trillion spending bill, prompting Paul to criticise the move as the government giving away “free money”.

“When you vote to pass out free money, you lose your soul and you abandon forever any semblance of moral or fiscal integrity,” Paul urged.

“If free money was the answer… if money really did grow on trees, why not give more free money?” Paul said.

“Why not give it out all the time? Why stop at $600 a person? Why not $1,000? Why not $2,000? Maybe these new Free-Money Republicans should join the Everybody-Gets-A-Guaranteed-Income Caucus? Why not $20,000 a year for everybody, why not $30,000? If we can print out money with impunity, why not do it?” the Senator proclaimed.

Sooner or later we have to make these asswipes regret their actions. I’ll leave the “regret” amount to those who capture the politicians as they are trying to hide.

No Better!?

They are far worse. It's like the chaperones at a teenage dance who get lickered up and start running behind the bushes with their underage charges.

I thought the GOP were lazy fat corrupt drunkards. I didn't realize they were meth-heads.

They’re newly elected and can do whatever. If they go along to get along, they’ll be reelected by software and other means.

Republicans are turning into deficit hawks again. They must be convinced that Trump lost.

I am liking Rand more and more, he is one of the few that stands up. Now for a list of those who voted for this insanity!

Paul and the other 5 senators who voted no are the last refuge of common sense in government.

I agree with Rand. So disgusting that Congress - both parties - can’t pass a clean bill that actually helps Americans without massive amounts of pork and foreign aid.

Rand is right. Absolutely no point in voting GOP in Georgia or anywhere else if this is what you get. With Trump on the way out, they are completely worthless. I am starting to remember why I hated both parties before Trump.

I don’t agree with Rand all the time, but I at least believe he supports Americans. I can’t say that about the rest of them.

Why stop at $600 a person?

The bill would have funded $2700 for every American, not that I think free money should be doled out for any reason. But the vast majority of money is going to the corruptocrat's (dem and gope) insiders and pet projects that have nothing to do with America.

It's just another rape of the American taxpayor.

Regarding the Stimulus: I don’t know who needs to hear this....
But $600 can get you a 55gal drum of tar and 10lbs of feathers.

Most often they’re reelected by ignorant and apathetic voters. Just saying.

I doubt the UniParty would be getting away with so much wasteful pork if Everyone had to pay taxes.
