Governor Gavin Newsom is a disaster. Newsom is hypocritical, incompetent, and a non-thinker. How bad does California have to get before people will consider someone who has an “R” after their name? Just look at his actions over the past year. American Thinker interviewed many who think that the governor needs to be recalled.
Orrin Heatlie is the lead proponent of the nonpartisan recall effort. He feels that the governor is acting as a tyrant, taking action over and over against the will of the people. He thinks, with plnety of evidence, that the governor is out of touch with reality: the bill that put independent contractors out of work, the bill to reduce penalties for certain sex crimes, the worsening of the homeless problem, mismanaging the gas tax, the high-speed rail line to nowhere, fumbling fire management, and of course his handling of the pandemic, just to name a few of his missteps. Under the state law for recalls, a hard copy of the petition must be signed in ink, rather than handling it online. Heatlie is hoping every Californian will sign the petition. The court has granted an extension until March 17th because they are halfway there but need about 900,000 more signatures.
Tom Del Beccaro is working in synch with Heatlie in an effort to recall Newsom. Del Beccaro agrees with Heatlie on all the reasons why Newsom should be recalled. Del Beccaro told American Thinker: “Newsom is a hypocrite considering the recent guidelines issued obviously do not apply to the governor himself. Recently Newsom was caught indoors with a group from at least five or six households, without social distancing and no masks. A photo shows him sitting at the head of the table in all his glory.

Silly. Even if they managed to recall him, it’s California. They’ll just find a bigger piece of garbage to install as governor.

If we can put a foreign born, marxist, Christian hating raghead addict into office; if we can put in a demented old fossilized pervert into office; Newsome will fit in like a glove. AOC will probably be his VP.

Same thing going on in NV with gov sissypants. We all know how that’ll turn out. The same way trying to get rid of gavin nuisance will turn out. Crickets. And, if they find a false signature during this attempt at a recall, you know someone will be prosecuted. National (s)elections, not so much.
Recall him and he just appoints himself to Kamala’s seat(Biden win). We do have an outgoing mayor in SD who could step in as long as there are not 200 applicants. Then there’s the white chick-Martinez?
It's not so much Newsom's luicrous policies that are the problem.
The problem is the people who elect numbskulls like Newsom and keep expecting things to get better.
The once jewel of the country as far as beauty, livability, climate and overall favorability, is already down the shit hole.
Whether or not the state is salvageable is really not up for debate.
Recalling Newsom will only result in the same or worse liberal potentate being elected to replace him, while the state continues the slide into the crapper.
Some say voter fraud originated in California - would explain why the same mindless lefties like Newsom keep getting elected to office - and even re-elected despite destroying the state and driving out productive taxpayers and businesses.
The only way to punish these lefties is to take your tax dollars and businesses elsewhere - as Oracle and Elon Musk - have just done, along with thousands of others.
Extremely glad I don’t live in California. Thrilled I live about as far away as possible.
