illegal aliens can get up to $1800, while Americans only get $600.

What makes me so upset is that there are elderly parents who reside with grown kids and the kids claim the parent as a dependent. They don’t yet qualify for SS and these parents don’t get the money but I have heard that spouses who are not citizens get the money when they are claimed on their spouses tax returns.
I’ll donate my $600 to a fund for deporting illegal aliens.

IIUC, it’s a $1200 retroactive payment to make up for the previous one they were ineligible for and the $600 payment this time around.
If that is indeed what’s in there, it’s in there for one reason: to try to pry Trump’s base away from him.
