Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee (R) is the latest state leader to urge residents to drastically limit their holiday gatherings by spending them only with members of the same household, signing an executive order limiting indoor public events to ten.
In a Sunday evening address, the Republican governor identified Tennesee as “ground zero for a surge in sickness,” describing the ongoing pandemic as a “war.” Approximately 10,000 Tennesseans are getting sick daily, the governor said, largely attributing the spike to holiday gatherings — namely, the Thanksgiving gatherings

How many people are getting well daily? I’d like to see that number.
A real ‘Christian’; that Bill Lee...a STRONG believer in liberty and freedom...
80 % of all China Virus victims have been deficient in Vitamin D. That’s why viruses proliferate in the winter months.....lack of sunshine.
Vitamin D, plus zinc and vitamin C in sufficient quantities, are much more effective than robotic facemasks, and lockdowns.
Also, abundant fresh, outdoor air.
He is requesting that we do the right thing. Some of the Mayors have gone all Stalin on us but only in the DNC urban areas. Most in our state have taken the tact that we aren’t sure whether masks and such help or not but on the outside chance they do what does it hurt? Still a lot do not participate and it’s their choice. Most churches still meeting although attendance has dropped off dramatically. It is still mostly left up to the individual.
“How was Lee being handling lockdowns?”
If Lee had decreed lockdowns earlier, I never heard about it. Nobody pays attention to his crap, including the dorky “wear masks” PSA I hear once in a while. And he can kiss my ass today — and the ass of all the relatives who are congregating to enjoy Christmas as the Good Lord intended.
When is he going to change parties?
I am in a co morbidity group x 2 . I have been out and about in a state with reported rampant spread .In addition to being attentive to where I go and some serious hand washing, I am also taking that exact supplement regimen and have been good so far. Actually had a positive family member IN MY HOME and I came out fine. I am a believer in this.
“spending them only with members of the same household,”
What, exactly, does that accomplish???
This is the idiocy of communism.
“He is requesting that we do the right thing. “
The right thing? You cannot possibly explain how keeping Christmas to your family is any different than inviting other outside the family.
More lunacy from the idiocracy of elected officials.
Good grief! 10,000+ Tennesseans are getting sick each day from drugs, colds, flu, dysentery, septic, headaches, allergies, alcohol, cigarettes, spoiled food, over-eating, VD, and listening to idiot politicians and boredom to name a few besides, heart-lung-liver-kidney-diabetes and cancer.
Does that mean life stops for some stupid hyped flu-like virus?! Enough of this nonsense already!
Stop the insanity and get on with living!
So what? If you’re that fragile, then stay home, live in a bubble, but nothing you have done protects you anyway. Shutting down our country doesn’t protect you either.
“80 % of all China Virus victims have been deficient in Vitamin D.”
So? 100% of all people with it breath air. Stop breathing air!
Add some quercetin to that zinc.
I am a citizen of the world so my family celebration will include anyone who chooses to show up.
Alabama-Notre Dame is being moved from the Rose Bowl to Jerry World in Arlington.
Out of the blue last week, Gonzaga and Virginia agreed to play this Saturday in Fort Worth. Zags looked really good last Saturday, beating #3 Iowa 99-88.
So 11 would cause a minor pandemic?
RE: When is he going to change parties?
