California Gov. Gavin Newsom will quarantine for 10 days after one of his staffers tested positive for COVID-19, according to a spokesperson for the governor's office.
The staffer tested positive Sunday afternoon, the spokesperson stated. Newsom was then tested and his result came back negative.
The staffer also had contact with other staff members, who were also tested. Their results came back negative.

Not sure who can go into hiding at this point. If enough disappear and leave the protection of the people to underlings that are either not qualified or not able to make decisions as it is outside their job description, then we are truly going into third world status.
It’s a real recipe for things to get totally out of control: leaders out of the loop, short and unfunded law enforcement with ideas on making the harm go away with unarmed counsellors, and governors that have kept this whole violence thing away from legitimate assistance to the people by use of the guard and saying it is a state crime situation and is not insurrection so the feds have to respect states’ rights when Trump even offered to foot the bill to get the guard in.
So all this they have created is going to bite them on the keyster as they have turned the monster loose on the countryside and have no idea how to reel it in. Thus they are going to do what all cowards do, run for it and blame it on someone else....Trump. And the amount of pain to the people is what is going to trigger a change. Hope many don’t have to die to get it done.
